I found her very wooden myself, but interested to see him.

I have seen all the Satines so far, and Tanisha is fantastic! Some great names added into the ensemble. Really excited to see this again.

Wonderful news - Tanisha is a total icon - easily the best West End Satine so far.
Don't know him but he certainly looks the part.

Jamie’s voice is gonna take some beating… I KNEW you liked Bogyo really - he doth protest far too much. (Less seriously Muscato I guess. We agree on that unbelievably. Jamie Muscato's voice is sublime).

Was at this at the Wednesday matinee (in the very last row of the grand circle), when a drunk woman (who looked to be in her 20s) and her friends came in 15 minutes late and sat at the other end of the row, almost immediately she started shouting out remarks back to the cast and talking loudly to her friends. I saw staff go up and down to her constantly telling her to be quiet. Anyhoo, as my frustration grew, at the end of Firework, it was announced that there was going to be a show stop for a number of minutes. The second the house lights went up staff descended on this obnoxious woman and were telling her she had to get out. I sh*t you not she was arguing back with them and said "you're not stopping the f***ing show because of one person", she went back and forth with them for honestly 10 minutes while the rest of us in the row just stared wide eyed at one another at this woman making a complete show of herself. Eventually two men had to go either side of her, put their arms under her arms and lift her off her seat because she wouldn't leave. Her friends were basically dying with embarrassment next to her.
A big shout out to the Moulin Rouge staff, the second she was gone the entire show went wonderfully (even though it isn't really my cup of tea) and I got some additional free entertainment out of it - how a person like that can operate in public is beyond me - has she no shame?

That’s one of the most depressing things I’ve ever heard. I think all theatres should join forces and when someone behaves like this - they should be blacklisted from ever setting foot in a London theatre again.

Oh my God I find it depressing. A few misgivings aside I do really like this show. But it's always the same offenders. And this one comes up with Binge Britain dreadful behaviour time and time again. Sad. Am literally nervous whenever I take my seat. What a way to feel going to a musical! #Grim.

I've been to the show multiple times,(don't judge, blame Jamie Muscato!) and may have been fortunate, but haven't really experienced a disruptive audience. Yes, there have been late-comers and a few bathroom trips, but no more than any other show I've been to. The pre show announcement about not singing always causes amusement but does it job. If anything this and the FOH signs about not using your phone have stopped people getting up and joining in with the encore.

Narcissists will take any attention you give them and they get an even bigger 'buzz' if it's negative attention x

I was offered a half price ticket to this about an hour before the show tonight and having never seen it, I thought I'd give it a go before the new cast change.
First of all, this is surely one of the most detailed and presumably expensive sets that the Piccadilly has ever seen? I found myself lost in all of the fine details of the set, right down to the roof for a solid ten minutes when I first got to my seat - It's really incredible!
I'm not generally into jukebox shows as I find them a bit cringe, but I actually really enjoyed this. Jamie is the obvious show stealer here, although I always find his voice a bit too on the throaty side, he sang brilliantly tonight and his acting is top notch. He absolutely nailed both the reflective and comedic scenes equally and honestly I can quite easily see him going on to pretty big things in film if he gets the right break.
We had Vanessa on as Satine tonight and although I wouldn't say she was bad, her voice isn't really suited to the score in my opinion. Maybe it was just my view, but I also thought she looked scarily similar to Alexandra Burke at points - separated at birth perhaps?
Although I enjoyed the show, I also have to reflect what some previews posts have said with the fact that the audience was one of the worst I've been in for quite a while. If I had paid the full almost £100 for the seat I was in, I would've been absolutely livid.
I was sat next to a middle aged couple who constantly chatted throughout and took photos on their phone, in between texting, despite being told off by a steward who had to interrupt my view four times. The man also made it clear as soon as he sat down that both arm rests belonged to him and towards the end of the show his elbow was so far into my space that I had to sit at an angle. He also refused to get up to let people into the aisle, meaning everyone had to squeeze past his legs, almost hurting themselves - honestly just such a horribly entitled person!
Overall I thought this was a great show and the production value was some of the highest I've seen in years, but these types of show do seem to attract disruptive people unfortunately.

Made a return visit today to finally catch Jamie Muscato in the title role after seeing a most excellent Robson Broad as Christian a few weeks back. Boy am I glad I did, phew that man can SING! Absolutely adored his take on the role and his chemistry with Melissa James is amazing.
While I'm not hugely into jukebox musicals, musically this was everything that I thought & Juliet would be and just wasn't (for me) - campy fun at times, but with really layered and interesting new mash-ups of songs. That opening number to Act 2 is incredible!
Plus with the stunning set and costumes, and a super hardworking ensemble it's a really entertaining night out. I purposefully ignored the trio of ladies right in front of me, obviously on a night out who treated the whole show as their own private dance-along. (Rolling in the Deep at that point in the show is about heartbreak, NOT an invitation to snap and clap along to an Adele bop!)

What on earth do you have to do to be able to purchase Bohemian seats? I open the email the minute it arrives, wait for my place in the queue but still no tickets yet the same few always somehow manage to secure them. What’s the deal here?

They are probably in the queue on about 50 different devices to increase their odds!

Extended to 17th February 2024. Really want to see this with Tanisha but unfortunately no captioned and accessible performances announced. They have just done some earlier this month but not great having to wait at least 5 months for more, that is if they plan on more, and no guarantee I will be able to make the date

How well is this selling? They seem to be advertising it in every ITV ad break this week! It’s selling very well, however they seem to do a lot of sales close to the performance (like the week of) rather than more in advance, so that could be the aim of the TV advert push - to generate more advance sales.

That applies to all musicals now. Look at Hamilton (now also starting to advertise on tv).. loads of seats available in the days leading up to the performance. Likewise Phantom etc

The pricing of this show recently is driving me insane. During the summer they were easily dropping the Saturday prices the day before the show. Now as the week goes on what do they do? Actually increase the prices of the top 2 ticket categories and then barely reduce them until an hour or 2 before the show. This week I saw £189 tickets a week out increase to £285. It’s insane. Desperate to go but they’re pricing me out doing this.
