Ohh ohh is it a Rodgers and Hammerstein? Sadly not! Than I'm guessing My Fair Lady (oh oh the one Julie Andrews is directing) New as in transfer/ revival/ completely new show (ie world premiere)? New musical but a transfer Transfer from Broadway? This would be a fun one to guess... Waitress..? Maybe Bright Star but it's a longshot...

Maybe Bright Star but it's a longshot... People are getting very close regarding Drury Lane. Regarding Palladium, it's a transfer from UK. There are 2 shows in the pipeline and one of them would only be limited season

My guess is a transfer of 42nd Street from Paris - they didn't assemble such a great cast with Alexander Hanson, Ria Jones, etc. for only a short run in Paris.... Then after that limited season it could move on Broadway, perhaps with a new American cast?

George did they tell you when these productions will be announced? No sorry they didn't. Only one has been confirmed, the others are still being negotiated.

I think Big is still a possibility for the Palladium.

Are we aware that what could be going into the Palladium exists, if you are aware of the production that is, or is it something which is itself yet to be announced?

Could My Fair Lady be returning to London next year with a transfer of the Sydney Opera house production?

I think poor George is taking the same tablets that Sheridan Smith is taking, for him to know what is going in BOTH the London Palladium and Drury Lane by a chance meeting with a producer is utter and clearly preposterous.

Well Baz has confirmed something has booked Drury Lane and his response 'come and hear the dancing...' does mirror slightly 'come and meet the dancing feet' of 42nd Street which is a golden age musical (if I'm correct) and would probably also need a star name to fill the theatre and would only do a limited run.

42nd Street at Drury Lane was the first West End musical I ever saw. It'd be nice to see it again.
However, I tend to take these "I know something you don't know" tales with a pinch of salt and a barrow of cow exhaust. Anyone can claim to have inside information if they don't disclose it, and if they're not disclosing it then we don't actually know any more than if they'd never said anything at all.

You're very quick to dismiss George's claims with no real reasoning, even going as far as being potentially insulting. George has no reason to lie - he would only stand to face humiliation when these things come out to be wrong so it seems unlikely he would. News like this always comes out in the wash anyway.

Personally I hate blind comments. Either say something or do not. Either say XYZ production is looking for a house to transfer but say nothing if you share nothing.

Save the Last Dance for Me? I really enjoyed this show but it doesn't seem to be selling particularly well on tour so would be very surprised to see it heading to the West End.

What on earth?! Oh my goodness, go away! I dont know how you can make preposterous and offensive comments like that?! How dare you? After seeing what you said on here and that Oliviers 2017 thread, I think you're very rude man! Again, you don't know me so you can't tell me what I know and what I don't. It's not my fault I know some theatre producers, is it? I've done lots of ideal theatre producing already and got loads of experience so don't be so rude and make comments like that WHEN YOU DONT EVEN KNOW ME.

Going on message boards saying 'i know information but cant say' does come across as bragging or trying one up manship. It is best to either say what you know or dont say anything. Its just as bad when people say 'told you so'.
You stay around the baords for a bit it becomes clear who the reliable posters are and who arnt. You dont need to do anything yourself.
And george, yes phantoms comment was harsh but i think its just some of your posts come across as an excitable puppy (always assumed you were in your teens or something) and im not saying thats a negative and sometimes lack an awareness of the industry. And then other times you say you have this industry inside knowledge. Just a bit contradictory. But as i say, time quickly shows who is reliable etc so i wouldnt stress about it
