I want the National to decide to release all their cinema screenings on DVD. I want to see so many again! Frankenstein, Saint Joan, Streetcar Named Desire, View from the Bridge and most of all, The Deep Blue Sea.

Groundhog Day returns to London (ideally the West End).
Agree with the person who mentioned more Lea Michele content, would love to see her work more over here.
For the amazing cast of Bat Out Of Hell, who I have grown to love in my short time with musical theatre, to all succeed & get amazing roles in the next year.
Lastly: to be surprised by great shows that aren’t even on my radar right now! Not much better than a good surprise.

Groundhog Day, Hedwig & the Angry Inch, Memphis and Spring Awakening return.
Great Comet and Newsies transfer.
Thriller closes for ever.
Company and Hamilton are filmed for a DVD release.
They tell us 42nd Street closing was just a joke.

I'm another one for a successful return of Groundhog Day (though sadly Baz has said here it won't happen in 2019). Another wish is for Beetlejuice on Broadway to get reviews that are so amazing and win lots of Tonys that they fast track it to the West End. In terms of plays, I'd love to see the returns of Hangmen or Peter & Alice as I missed them both and they looked terrific. Also I missed it last year, but maybe for the NT to revive Pinocchio for Christmas having fixed the problems everyone said it had.

Oooh. And I'm going to add the return of BIG. This trailer makes it look pretty good, but were the reviews alright in Plymouth and Dublin?

The Royal Opera House to cut its prices so I can afford to see more there. (I know. This will never happen.)
A new production of a nice old-fashioned song & dance musical. Not bothered which as long as it has a more satisfying plot than 42nd Street.
Mischief Theatre not to do a new show, or any more Mischief Movie Night, so I have more time to see non-Mischief shows!

I want Romantics Anonymous and Groundhog Day back. I did want Oklahoma! to transfer from St Ann's Warehouse but I guess I didn't wish clearly enough 'cos it is transferring, but to Broadway. Still, maybe we'll get a cast album now. I don't think it's a realistic wish, but I would LOVE to see SpongeBob over here, and my promise to UK producers that I would buy a premium ticket if they were brave enough to bring it over still stands, so fingers crossed!
I'd like to see fewer productions of Shakespeare, and the ones that do happen should be better than this year's, which were... fine at best, deathly tedious at worst.
More stage work for Patsy Ferran please, and it would be great if Erin Doherty could find a little time away from The Crown to do likewise.
And maybe someone could finally write that great new musical for Laura Pitt-Pulford and Carly Bawden to star in together...

My wish is for all the people who mostly see musicals to see more plays and for the people who mostly see plays watch more musicals.

Someone on here, that works in theatre did say that Thriller is losing money, unfortunately so many shows have just closed may give their box office a boost.
I would like to see the plays of Neil Simon done, as I have only seen the Sunshine Boys. Would also love to see John Osbourne’s Don’t Look Back in Anger.
Musical wise love to see Hello Dolly come over with Ms Middler, like to see Sunday In The Park with George, as never seen that, even if they revive the Menier version again.

I’d just love to see Bat have some further life in the not to distant future, in whatever form that takes.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Saw it in Madrid though, so for me it's not that urgent that it transfers to London. Would it be a triumph in the West End though? I reckon it would do better as an off-West End limited run.

Probably not one for 2019 but one for 2020, as the National has just done Macbeth and Anthony and Cleopatra and as we know the Olivier is a tough space to create.
So thinking what would be really cool would be, if they did in repertory the Shakespeare history cycle, like which the RSC did 3 years back.

I want Romantics Anonymous and Groundhog Day back. At the very least, I would like someone to please make a cast recording of Romantics Anonymous. That music is too good to disappear.

Sondheim & Ives to finish their musical
ENO to get a grip
ROH to be not stuck up.
