I think that ticket sales have been good... First 4 previews in that gigantic theatre are sold out. No, it's not going to be like Hamilton or something - it's a 50 year old score that's well known and revived multiple times. But that being said, it seems to be doing just fine even before opening.
I'll go on a limb predicting the "Strictly limited run" gets extended after it opens

There’s really no theater for this to transfer to unless School of Rock or Waitress closes...

Well the One Show wasnt camp at all was it! Add a bit of Michael Ball to the proceedings and its guaranteed OTT. The 3 of them came over very well and had a lot of fun. Joseph is very likeable and really confident. LOL - was fun - they certainly came across as very likeable and you could genuinely see (for once) that they all really like each other. My God though, they couldn't keep their hands off each other, was worse than Love Island. Sheridan also repeated that thing about her and the kids being naughty fairies and 'moving the set around.' Had been hoping the set would be fully automated rather than exploiting child labour. Had also hoped the 'naughty fairies' was an SS slip of the tongue when she was on R2. Fact it's been repeated though makes me think it's a Laurence Connor director choice..... Ahh well, three more days till I find out! (They'd BETTER not cancel that first preview ;-))

Be interesting to hear what you think. I'm off to see it next Monday.

One minute people are saying it's too expensive.
They do a ticket lottery and people are still complaining.
They can't win!

There tonight! Very excited :-) Shall of course report back..... Very excited to hear a full report. For me, expectations were really set to a minimum after the BGT performance. Would be fabulous if it’s a great show. Have a good time

Was a bit irritated to find out that Jason Donovan won't be appearing at the performance I'm going to. How do you know? You've got me worried now. I'm going on 15/7.

Please note: the producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist. The schedule is subject to change and may be affected by contracts, holiday, illness or events beyond the producers’ control. Jason Donovan will not be performing on Sat 13 July.

Was a bit irritated to find out that Jason Donovan won't be appearing at the performance I'm going to. Funnily enough I booked that date deliberately (as my 3rd trip lol) so could see the u/s Pharaoh.... Will have seen JD twice by then though. Understand your frustration if it's your only trip!

I booked a few weeks ago and was looking at that matinee as I am in London then, but when I clicked on the seating chart it said in small letters at the top of the chart that he was not appearing at that performance.

Was a bit irritated to find out that Jason Donovan won't be appearing at the performance I'm going to. I think they added that date on as soon as they announced that JD was xast, as he had a pre existing booking.
