Wouldn't she just be perfect? The looks, the vocals, the acting. I will probably get shot down for saying all of this but if you want an A-List Celebrity to perform that role, she really is it for me.

Unless she’s doing the LA run of Sunset Blvd… see International section.

Isn't Gaga too old to play Eva?

She's 38. Same as Madonna when she was in the movie.

I can see Gaga in it, especially in the dress on the Balcony of the Casa Rosada
But I suppose she could be going for Sunset. It's a much easier sing than Evita, that's for sure lol

This would be a HOT ticket if indeed it is Gaga. Although goodness knows what the prices’ll be like!

After Joker not doing so well, she may fancy a change.

It’s being described as a “MT return” for the mystery star. If true that rules Gaga out surely? I know she’s dabbled with some MT performances but she’s never been in one as a professional actor has she?

I was under the impression that, sadly, Lady Gaga is very unlikely to do anything on West End/Broadway, for health reasons, performing at peak level 8 times a week might not be sensible for her, it’s a bit different to being a recording artist or even concert tours.

Gaga has LG7 out in Feb followed by a world tour and greatest hits package lined up for next Dec. According to what I have read, she plans to lay low in 2026-2027 to marry and maybe start a family. But yes, she would be an amazing Eva.

This is the summer slot at the Palladium from I believe end of June to early September, and it's not Gaga (despite their best efforts to convince her)

Agree Lady Gaga would be incredible. (Though I dread to think what the ticket prices and the audiences would be like). But yeah can't see it. Also doesn't she have something on the chronic fatigue/ME spectrum? So indeed 8 shows a week would be something of an ask.

Yes Gaga has Fibromyalgia which has impacted her last 2 tours. I don’t think she’s touring next year from things I’ve heard (could change) and 8 shows a week could be hard on her. But equally if she really really wanted to do something I could see her cut the amount of shows a week she would do and only do a very short run of something.

After all of these suggestions (did anybody say Ruthie Henshall), it's gonna be disappointing, whoever it is.
