I see that Nottingham is now listed on the tour website but doesn't have dates yet as far as I can see. Can anyone with better Google skills or inside knowledge tell me when it will be there? How far into the future has it already got confirmed dates?

Robert Colvin will replace Kevin Clay as Elder Price from next month.
Hope we see Kevin back with BoM again soon, he’s been amazing on this tour so far!

Well it was neither Kevin Clay nor Robert Colvin last night, nor Alex Hatton. It was Tom Dickerson from the ‘ensemble’. His characterisation & performance were spot on, but he just didn’t have the voice for the big numbers. And for me BOM is all about those big numbers. They didn’t even boost the volume to try and disguise it, so the whole thing felt a bit flat. Perfectly diverting two hours, but if I’d paid more than £13 for it I’d be a bit miffed. Only saw 3 walkouts which was quite disappointing, and that was before Hasa Diga so I’m not sure what upset them before then 😀.

They have added an extra preview in Birmingham on Tuesday (don’t know if there been a cast change).
All tickets £15 and available online.
Mostly the rear Circle but also row edges everywhere from the front row Stalls back.
Likely to sell fast (a lot went in an in-person sale earlier this week).

No doubt xanady will be snapping up three tickets, as it's so close to home! 😉

^danb...surely the walk-outs were because they realised very quickly that it’s utter s**t....lol

Why the needless offence? That’s what he was listed as on the website. The brackets around the words on the website wouldn’t make sense in the context of my sentence so I used single speech marks.

I'm not offended at all. I just was curious about your reasoning! I also proofread for a living, so this was actually just a clinical curiosity.

^Cracked me up too...a damn sight more than the show did 😂 Yes,Dr Tom,according to the local rag(Brum Mail),people queued for four hours in the pouring rain to get these £15 tickets at the BO for the preview at the Hippo...wtf? Must be some super-fans who are really devoted to this.Who knew?
Btw,49th and 8th,if you are indeed a proofreader, shouldn’t it be ‘was just’ rather than ‘just was’...perhaps?

This isn't directed at you xanady but this has reminded me of what I really, really hate about the internet and opinions now. It's not just “I don't like this thing”, “oh, I like this thing” anymore. It's “I don't like this thing.....and because of that, everyone who does like this thing is obviously either mad or inferior” - and vice-versa of course. Just an observation!

^ Like I said, it was in no way directed at you (I really enjoy your posts on this board), it applies to those who love things too and I’ve definitely been guilty of it - just if there are any ways to make the internet a nicer place then let's do it! Your reply obviously demonstrates what a nice person you are anyway so I’m preaching to the choir but who knows who might see it 😁

theatremadness, sincerely, you are a real voice of reason on the site.I did not take your post as directed at me.I am my own worst enemy sometimes,I admit and will avoid any references to BOM again...promise! Thank you for your thoughtful and sensitive comments and yes,the internet does need to be a kinder place for everyone.Kind regards to you and I totally agree with everything you said👍

I can think of at least four shows I've seen on of off-Broadway in the past few years that I either hated or didn't like and that have enthusiastic, vocal fanbases.
Why would I go into a thread (or a hashtag) about it and talk about how much I didn't enjoy it, much less talk about how I don't understand why they do what they do with their friends concerning this show? Who cares? It makes them happy and it's not for me. Two things can be true and the third thing, being a jerk, doesn't have to happen.

Trying to decipher your post,49th and 8th which I am taking as another personal dig at me and that’s fine if that’s your thing. 1.After I had VERY clearly withdrawn from discussing BOM,Tall Paul chose to tag me back into this BOM thread with a joke.As pianowithsam then responded as well,I felt that I could re-join the conversation but seemingly not it seems in your eyes. The comments about people queuing in the rain were a mere observation and nothing more was intended. 2.If we are not able to criticise shows at all on a discussion forum then TB becomes only a trite navel-gazing fan-club of sorts and nothing else. 3.In response to your quotation which I found to be very patronising.....I love what I think is good theatre and I hate what I think is bad theatre.Just my opinion. My sense of humour IS very dark and I can only apologise for that and rein it in.
At the moment,I feel that posting comments and then spending days justifying them is causing me VERY severe mental stress and anxiety.

People have different tolerances, humour & ‘things’ that they just don’t joke about. I recently offended someone greatly by joking about something that they don’t. Being respectful of the fact that everyone is different is much more important than talking about it. Just do it in your everyday life, not ‘to be seen’ doing it. That’s certainly the lesson I have learnt.
