Bill Kenwright has the rights (sic!) to Evita and it finishes a national tour next month. Bit too early for a revival or re-imagining? I love the show but it needs to be put to bed (with real eiderdown and silence) for a while.

Could Little Shop of Horrors be making a return next year? Or, could it be transferring?

My fondness for Evita is well documented but it does seem to be an odd choice. It’s also not consistent with a post upthread that said (with some authority) that next year’s show isn’t a revival. Where has this Evita rumour come from anyway? It sounds like the same sort of ill-informed mischief as Elaine Paige playing the mum In Jamie  You’ll see how “ ill-informed” it is when it is announced. Thank me after. I meant it wasn’t a revival of a past Open Air production btw. |

I was sure I heard someone say it was going to be Starlight Express, but I've gone through every page of this thread with a fine-toothed comb and no one seems to have any firm ideas at all.

Starlight Express would be equal parts crazy and amazing. They could do the races through the park, relay the pictures by camera to the stage and have surprised walkers in the park (who have no clue what's going on) lining the "tracks" as spectators.
