Any rumblings on the cast? The Southwark cast was absolutely magical and I hope the majority return!

Disappointed that Jamie isn't returning but John Dagleish is a gent and a huge talent (he recently came to watch a show I directed in Colchester and was SO gracious in the bar afterwards) - excited to see his take on this! If Molly Osborne returns, that's 2 Colchester Operatic Society alumnus leading the cast!!

I wonder why Jamie didn't transfer with it. I thought the run was timed to wait until after Next to Normal closes for that very reason. Perhaps he thought 2 musicals back to back might be heavy going or the rehearsal period was too tight?

Truly gutted that Jamie isn't returning as he was so bloody good in this.

A real shame about Jamie but I’m excited to see my third Benjamin Button. Makes me cry every time, so moving.

Sad that Jamie won’t be transferring with it, but really excited to see what John brings to the role!

Shame Jamie won’t be joining, but I am sure the production will be lovely nonetheless. Saw it twice at E&C, and booked it twice already for the Ambassadors.
WOS says John was in Sylvia. Was this the first production? I don’t remember seeing him in the latest one at the Old Vic.

Great to see the ensemble return, they're really the ones making the show magical.
Odd choice for someone of Jamie's caliber to do the Southwark run but not West End. I'm sure he has his reasons why isn't doing at least a part of the run in-between N2N.
Really looking forward to seeing a different interpretation of the role though, always great to see another take on such a particular role.

Clare Foster broke me in Merrily, so while I'm sad to not see Molly Osborne return, I know what my reaction will be to Clare's take on Elowen... Really looking forward to the new pairing and seeing this superb show again!

Amazing.

I think I last saw Clare in Crazy for You! Previously Merrily. Amazing. Crazy For You was actually just before Merrily We Roll Along, 2011-12 and 2012-13 respectively. The last musical I saw her in was Guys & Dolls at Chichester in 2014. I'm not sure that she's actually been in any musicals since then.

Getting my dates confused. 😝 Did a workshop with her once and she’s a class act.
