I'm looking for something to binge on, and I wondered about this. Has anyone here seen it? Worth a look? I see it's scripted by playwright Nick Payne, so I suppose it must be based on his Royal Court play of the same name, which I saw but really can't remember, except that it had Charles Edwards in it, which is always a selling point for me.

Toni Collette is always worth watching, but what starts off funny and quirky gets pretty predictable by the end.

I really wanna watch this as I love Toni. Does anyone remember United States of Tara? She was hysterical.

Very well acted - but it takes a long time to get to the rather predictable conclusion.

I'm 2 episodes in but it's not really grabbing my attention.

I enjoyed it, but as others have said it’s a bit predictable. Having said that though, I did find myself caring for some of the characters and how it would all pan out, and the inclusion of some side-stories kept it moving.
Zawe Ashton pretty much stole every scene she was in, I really enjoyed her performance. The penultimate episode was quite engaging as well, with its tightened focus and plenty much more of the (until then) surprisingly underused Okenado.
On a related note, last night I watched “Hereditary” - a recent horror film starring Toni Collette. In an interview on the extra features she tells of how she felt she’d done enough horror, but read this script and felt inclined to do it. I loved it - lots of character focus to make the viewer invest more in the horror elements, and some stunning visuals.

Toni Collette was far better than the material but who knew that little William Ash from 'Where The Heart Is' would turn into a bit of a silver fox?
