Coming soon to Londres according to Theatre Fan.
Somebody on BWW says that one of the actors cast is an Oscar nominee (first person that springs to mind is Lucas Hedges) and the other is a Tony nominee.

If the clue is one of the actors is an Oscar nominee…could it be Kodi Smit-McPhee? His upcoming miniseries Disclaimer is in post-production and he has no other screen projects so far in the line-up. Might he be too young for the role? Although he’s around the same age as when Jake and Heath filmed Brokeback.
Would Jesse Plemons be a good consideration too? (He and KSM were co-stars in Power of the Dog and both were nominated for Best Supporting Actor last year)
The likes of Barry Keoghan and Paul Mescal or even Timothée Chalamet are already ruled out due to other screen commitments (and Paul is doing Streetcar West End as well. As for Timmy, 4000 Miles will be with a different actor) Although not an Oscar nominee (but an Emmy winner) - Josh O’Connor? He’s basically like the Anglo equivalent of Barry and Paul. I’m surprised he went a bit under the radar after winning an Emmy for The Crown and his show’s co-stars, Emma Corrin and Erin Doherty, were more visible last year (and both actresses did stage work recently too). I kinda feared that Josh was overshadowed with Paul and Barry and they all have similar profiles and likely compete for the same roles.

I'm still a little sad that we never got the musical that was being written, because I still love the song I heard from it at a concert, but I will take a play!

If we are going for semi-random Oscar nominees suggestions/guesses - Andrew Garfield must be due a return to the stage.

I doubt Josh O'Connor would do it as God's Own Country was thematically very similar.

It is going to be another 3-5 years before my brain stops hearing Garfield's histrionic Prior Walter voice at the mere mention of his name.

If Tony Nominee maybe Jonathan Groff, depending on what part of summer. Could be a possibility of squeezing it in before Merrily We Roll Along.

If they're just going to use spit for lubrication, like in the film, I don't know whether he'll be merrily rolling along for some time.

They seem to be hinting at Mike Faist I must say I've never heard of him, which probably says more about me than him!

Was on board with this until I saw it had songs, and the majority of the creative team are from Jamie...yawn

Am sure the boys will be terrific, I'd just rather a better creative team as this will likely become all schmaltzy with JB and DGS

I'm excited for this! Have sohoplace historically gone ahead with scheduled first previews? I feel like so many shows have been cancelling them recently that I'm worried about booking for an early performance.

I'm excited for this! Have sohoplace historically gone ahead with scheduled first previews? I feel like so many shows have been cancelling them recently that I'm worried about booking for an early performance. For Medea, yes, they did not have cancellations on any days (and I guess this is why Sophie and Ben are not doing stage door signings to prevent cancellations due to COVID). The original run date was supposed to start on February 11, but eventually they started a day before. I think they announced late that the preview moved a day early. As You Like It did have cancellations on some days due to illness. As for their prices…well…it’s £10 cheaper for the highest price (Medea’s most expensive ticket is worth £95), but their cheapest ticket is now worth £29.50. Still pricey. I’m sure they’ll still have the £20 rush/day seats.
