A group of dissolute young radicals bemoan the state of the nation as they drink, dance and philoshophise.
Tickets £16 (concessions available)
Usually try to catch at least one a year, one caveat, most of the audience members are other students, be prepared as in my case to be one of the oldest in the room.

It can be a bit odd to be one of the few in the room who isn’t obviously a friend/family of the cast, but you do occasionally see a real gem.

I tend to prefer seeing the NYT as they commission some excellent new work, a season of revivals is great practice for students though. The von Horvath would be the one I’d like most to see of these. Sadly a life cut short, he may have gone on to even greater things.
If you want to feel thoroughly dismayed and depressed, Cathy is inspired by Ken Loach’s Cathy Come Home. Powerful but don’t expect much light.

Going to see the Guildhall version of the Last Days of Judas Iscariot next month. I've seen another student production of Stephen Adly Guirgis (Our Lady of 121st Street done by Rose Bruford). Is he a favourite with drama schools?

On my way to RADA to see Last Days of Judas Iscariot. First time there. I am expecting to feel very VERY old and hoping not to appear weird (I am just interested in seeing the play). Wish me luck!

From experience you also get MA students who are too cheap to see anything else in London, and/or fancy a member of the undergrad cohort. I mean so I heard. But yes, do go if you're in London, if only for the bragging rights of 'I saw them when'
