Im sure someone said on here a couple of weeks back that the advance was brilliant (they may have blown it all on sunflowers though) I will check it out if i can get cheap tickets but i fear it will be a wasted slot This person being someone who is involved in the show to some capacity. Actually, I'll think you'll find that @mrmusicals also has stated that the advance for this has been brilliant too - not just me...
The advance for this show has been really good for a new musical actually.

Wasn't talking about you, but okii... Some people love thinking that everything is about them Erm? Oke. And Daniel, I admit I have said the advance for this is good so I just presumed when you said "obviously has capacities with this show" it would be me

All joking aside I would like to know more about the target audience for this. Ive spoken to older people who like the story from its previous incarnations and Take That fans who are interested in the Gary Barlow link. Beyond that I really cant grasp what they are aimkng for. What songs are out there I can listen to to decide whether it is for me.

There were quite a few groups, some of whom were wearing t-shirts sporting the name of their WI branch. They lapped it up. I hated it. Having said that, I went with two friends, one gay male one female and they both loved it and the gay put it in his top five musicals! ALONG WITH ENO SUNSET BOO AND DREAMGIRLS! Sometimes I despair

Listened to the tracks on youtube, not impressed at all. Dont think its a great thing having Gary Barlow sing on them for the reasons previously mentioned. I may give it a go still just to hear them in context but its probably not for me.

I think it looks nice in the sunshine

I believe this is the finished look? I think it looks nice in the sunshine From that angle, it does look better, and the sunshine helps that too. But still not a fan of it I'm afraid. It is just too tacky for me. And am I the only one who feels dizzy just attempting to read the theatre name with all those sunflowers around it?

Does anyone else get the impression that they started arranging them in ordered rows and then thought "screw it"?

I don't think it's that OTT, I mean the pillars look really nice. Fair enough if they covered the WHOLE theatre but the pillars look nice with the blue banners.

I said the other day it was awkward to read. I still think the whole thing looks ghastly, tacky and unimaginative

I I must admit that it doesn't look like 6000 more sunflowers have been added.
It looks better now that he is completely finished and covers all the pillars.

Also, isn't it funny on all the banners and everything it says "The Girls" but on the central sunflower, it doesn't look like it says the proper name, it looks like it just says "Girls". 😂😂

If I referred to some of our female members as "girls" I can't even imagine the backlash.

Atleast the FoH is unique and different, I think in the sunshine it looks really pretty!! It will also certainly catch people's eyes as they walk past which is a great move!
