Who knew that ugly leggings were actually a thing? Glinda's positioning on this just has to be deliberate! Anyway. Back to the show at hand. I love the Girls. Can't wait to see it for the first time since the rewrites.

How do you post a picture on the forum? When using the desktop version of the forum, post reply and then click the button above the blank space for text that looks like an image (I think it's mountains?) then paste the image URL into the pop up box when prompted.

Eight minute ovation? That sounds like a load of artistic license!

Michelle Dotrice was on Mellow Magic before 9am this morning on a pre-record so they are looking to get the message out. And yes it was all The Girls talk and no mention of Betty but plenty of mentions of "the wonderful show that Gary and Tim have written"

Eight minute ovation? That sounds like a load of artistic license! I've seen on twitter that Gary apparently sang a song at the end too

Does anybody know how to use the over 65 discount? There is the other but when I go to checkout it doesn't discount?

Not exactly an 8 minute ovation.

Not exactly an 8 minute ovation. They really should have counted the time people were on their feet to leave the theatre too. Let's call it a 12 minute standing ovation. 😉

(I searched for the term to see if it had been used before. It has, at least as far back as 1968. When I searched I was asked Do you mean "feeling ovulation"? No, I do not.)

Saw it at The Lowry and again last night....
It's still just an ok musical, despite the changes. Joanna Riding and Claire Moore are terrific. The music is still bland. The relationship between in Annie and John is so beautiful. The set is still clunky. The show only really comes alive midway through Act 2 when the photo shoot starts. Claire Machin 'sings' her dialogue which irritates me. Can't help thinking that this is a very thin show wrapped up with the prospect of a personal appearance and singalong with GB at the end! I wish it well, of course as the last thing the West End needs are more revivals!!!

Yes, my inclination is always to support new musicals rather than safe revivals or juke box shows. Sometimes my inclination is rewarded with a promising or good show, other times I know why there are so many revivals!

I thought the set worked well and lighting was very good

I know you have to collect at box office but when I try booking for a midweek show online there is no option for £20 off? Thanks for the help
