I enjoyed it at the Curve (much better than the 2014 version of White Christmas at the Dominion).
Will certainly see it again if the tickets are affordable. I'm sure tickets will be priced a lot higher than they were in Leicester.

That 2014 production at the Dominion was woeful

Really loved the Curve production, so much so that I had to make the most of my day trip to Leicester that I watched the evening show too after having gone to just see the matinee. Fingers crossed for affordable tickets!

Yes,the recent Curve production had one of the best matched four leads I have ever seen with Monique Young,Danny Mac,Emma Williams and Dan Burton.Had a silly grin on my face for the whole show. This kind of old-school fare is right up my street! The Stage called the show,‘perfectfully executed’ and they were right.Dan Burton is a brilliant physical comedian in the same vein as Donald O’Connor or the great Danny Kaye. Was seated on front row and got absolutely covered in snow at the end.It was soap suds and turned my programme into a soggy mess.Think there will be good deals on this as I can’t see it selling out the cavernous Dominion.

Having just seen ticket prices I've crossed this off the list! Stalls at £209, £109 and £89 - there are cheaper at the back of the circle but for me that's just too distant in that theatre. Sad as I love the show but can't justify spending that on it.

How many people who hate Christmas and don’t believe it should exist were cast in this?

Ticket prices for new shows seem to be on a sharp upward spiral. £85 - £175 for the vast majority of stalls and circle seats at a Christmas show in mid November will be a hard sell. Not even any reduced price previews which would make sense opening 6 weeks before Christmas.
Think we paid under £40 for front row seats at the Curve last year.
it IS a brilliant show though, just a shame the economics of London theatre lead to such high prices.

So Danny Mac and Dan Burton are coming back to the production but Emma Williams and Monique Young are not. Any speculation on this?

First I knew of this was in an advert tonight’s Evening Standard, missed the press release and totally didn’t see this thread, we’ll start of silly season, stRts with silly prices, thought the Leicester production was alright, although it had the quickest snow fall I have ever seen, so if you are hoping for a snowball fight.

Great casting indeed! I saw this at Curve, but I might have to try and get a cheap ticket to see it again, just for the cast!

Over the moon about this casting! I had already booked (having missed out on the Curve last year), so this is the icing on the cake for me. May have to try and fit in another visit or two now.

Oh wow, I was already going to this, I thought it would be nice and festive, but now Clare is involved, I really can't wait. She wowed me in 42nd Street, I thought she was the most talented leading lady at work on the West End at that time.
Can't wait now!

This was always going to be a hard sell in November. I think the ticket prices have dropped a bit I first looked but are still higher than most current musicals.
I saw White Christmas at the Curve Leicester last December, where it was a near sell-out, and it is a great production which will hopefully benefit from positive reviews and word of mouth once it opens.
I just booked a front row £85 seat for £49.50 - it's a must-see with Clare Halse plus Dan Burton. I had the whole of the front two rows to choose from !

I really can't believe the prices, two seats where I usually like to sit are £300. That's a lot, you can go away for that, this is a 2.5 hour show. It's no wonder some shows are struggling to shift tickets, who can really afford a large family outing and justify it? The money can be spent with more value for the time it consumes.

^Just selling tickets via Encore like everyone else. The sales company doesn't really bother me. What I was trying to point out was that it was now 50% off and not 40% which it was earlier in the week. Plus See Film First often me very cheap seats :-)
