Sounds like a good idea, but it might need to wait a bit as the Off-Broadway pie shop production has just closed. I've only seen the Vivian Beaumont from the pictures and think Sweeney would be a great show for it. I remember there was talk of the Chichester production transferring after the Adelphi, that would've been great to see there but alas it's been a while now.

Bart Sher mentioned he wants to do Oliver! and that would work really work at the Vivian Beaumont. Oklahoma! would be good as well

Brigadoon. I saw King and I at LCT. I know O’Hara did the concert recent enough with Patrick Wilson but I’d love to see that village fully reimagined I think Sher would bring a stunning nostalgic production to life.

Tenderloin, a great New York musical (though not a successful one) with one of Bock and Harnick's best scores. Or Fiorello! (also Bock/Harnick), which has never been revived on Broadway. Both shows are timely, the former because it's about an evangelical minister trying to clean up NYC's prostitution trade; the latter because it's a Pulitzer Prize for Drama-winning musical about politics.

Both good shows, but probably more appropriate choices for Encores! (the musical-revivals-in-concert series at City Center in NYC) than for Lincoln Center Theater. And in fact Encores! has done both of them: Tenderloin in 2000, and Fiorello! twice, in 1994 and again in 2013.

I didn't get to those productions, though I've been to many enjoyable performances at Encores!. I live near Lincoln Center Theater and would like a full-rigged production of both of those shows, though it's not likely to happen. I loved LCT's current production of My Fair Lady. Going back about ten years, I liked The Glorious Ones, an Ahrens/Flaherty musical which was presented in LCT's smaller Newhouse Theater. It was not a great success, but it was beautifully done and quite moving. Best song: "I Was Here." Not a musical, but I thought The Moderate Soprano, David Hare's play about Glyndebourne, which I saw at Hampstead, would have been a great fit for Lincoln Center Theater, since Rudolf Bing, the former Artistic Director of LCT's neighbor, the Metropolitan Opera, is a major character in the play. But I guess it would not have been a big enough draw for NYC.

Though both are very unlikely I would love to see Lincoln Center do a definitive production of either Floyd Collins or Martin Guerre.

Love them to do an Evita, ALW's best show in my opinion, and I feel like it could be really politically apt considering the current US climate, perfect space in the Vivian Beaumont!
