Excellent! Thanks radio et al.
I have to say that I'm slightly annoyed that I bothered to sign up my email address on the Close to You website on a form with a heading along the lines of "Be among the first to hear the news about our upcoming cast recording", but have never received an email from them about it. A petty gripe, I know, but it's disappointing if they offer to keep you informed and then don't bother (unless I missed an email somewhere).
I learnt about it first on here - I should have known to trust TheatreBoard!

Had something in instagram to say that the album was available to pre order on iTunes and you got 2 tracks immediately. Just checked it out and its a whopping £29.99 However if you go to the Dress Circle website they are going to be selling it for £16.99 Seems like the track list is the same but also the artwork for the album cover on iTunes is completely different than the Dress Circle one. Very confusing.

The most I've paid for a cast recording is the ITunes version of Dave Clarke's Time. £22! Act 1 and 2 are split into 2 separate albums, both at 11 quid. Daylight robbery, but given there are performances by Freddie Mercury, Dianne Warwick, Leo Sayer et al. it must have been quite a mission to get it released.

My CD arrived today. Double CD, the entire show, plus 12 bonus demo tracks. Nice production photos too in the booklet. Happy memories . Back home from a weekend in Prague and found the CD in my mailbox - as was the new blink-182 album, which wins by a mile, so Close To You will have to wait for several days until I find the time to listen to it.

Downloaded my copy a couple of days ago and really enjoying it plus all the bonus demo tracks. The booklet is great too with some good pics. Funnilly enough was just looking at my signed poster on the wall and it opened exactly a year ago today.
