It's certainly confusing. New Wimbledon Theatre has the dates there as 11- 16 October, Wales Millennium Centre is still selling tickets for 9 -14 August. both different from the official; (touring) website. Waitress is also still on sale at Woking Mon 7 - Sat 12 June with all seats bookable though hardly any sold. Surely not going to happen then so it's disappointing that it hasn't been pulled from the ATG website. ATG are just rubbish at updating their listings.

To be fair that’s how business works sometimes, it is happening until it isn’t! Airlines are a good example of this, when one goes under people always ask why we didn’t know earlier!

Not another announcement of an announcement 🙄
Still, excited to see who they’ve cast and to be getting my pie show back this Autumn.

Saying that though, does anyone actually know anything, or is Waitress as unorganised as usual and we know nothing?

Tour leads may of been inadvertently revealed. Theatre brochure has what looks like new-ish artwork. Lucie Jones as Jenna, Evelyn Hoskins as Dawn and Sandra Marvin as Becky.
Though we know how fast & loose Waitress were with actors in their promo stuff lol

Its the same what's teased in the pre-annoucement vid x

The UK tour website has as its main photo - Jessie Mueller and Drew Gehling from the original Broadway cast; the US tour has a main photo of Lucie Jones, Laura Baldwin and Marisha Wallace; the ATG website has a photo of the recent US tour cast; some other venues are using the Lucie, Laura, Marisha pic - and as mentioned the insta/twitter vid and some of the venues are using a composite of Lucie, Sandra Marvin and Evelyn Hoskins. Frankly it's a wonder they're not using Ranvir and Giovanni from Strictly in some of them.
So yes - nothing has changed - the cast for any given performance may well remain a mystery until the curtain goes up!

Evelyn sounds likely seeing as she was about 8 weeks into her contract when everything shut, I wonder if they probably sent offers out to most of the supporting cast/ensemble from the final London cast? Sandra wouldn’t surprise me either since she had a very short run, plus I guess there’s a tiny bit of name recognition from her awful stint in Emmerdale... Lucie’s meant to be in the Les Mis concert until at least September though.

Evelyn could be a go (but I'm pretty sure her original contract was only going to be 12 weeks (so she'd do a few extra weeks after Sara and Gavin left but that's it). And again, Sandra was only in for 10 weeks due to other commitments. God, whenever I remember what a revolving door this show was it makes me feel dizzy

I thought that too, but Les Mis concert run ends 5th September and Waitress tour now starts 4th September (if official website is to be believed) so it's not out of realm of possibility for Lucie to be able to do Waitress x

... if the waitress tour starts on 4th sept and Lucie is in Les Mis till at least the 5th, then...she's not available for Waitress?

It's 3 performances, who's to say they wouldn't just have a cover on for those. We'll find out soon enough, I would like Lucie to come back, she was amazing as Jenna but there is also plenty of other leading ladies I wouldn't mind seeing as Jenna x

Yea I had heard that too. I know she really loved Waitress though. If it isn't her, I hope they go with someone abit unexpected x

Given the intensity of rehearsals I can’t see Lucie jumping from performing one show then another with no gap in between, she’d have to finish Les Mis a few weeks early

Given the intensity of rehearsals I can’t see Lucie jumping from performing one show then another with no gap in between, she’d have to finish Les Mis a few weeks early Quite possible she's only doing some of the dates? It's quite common in tours for bigger names to only do bigger venues, or sometimes specific venues which work for them like their hometown. Funny Girl for example had Sheridan Smith plastered all over the publicity and the pre-tour announcements were all about her "RETURN!", but IIRC she only did around half the venues with Natasha J Barnes doing the rest. So maybe Lucie is the name they'll announce as Jenna, and will feature in the posters etc, but they'll have an alternate who does many of the dates - including the opening.

Yep, perhaps she’ll do anything within a car journey from her house? MK, Wimbledon, Oxford, Southampton, and t’other will do the rest.
