Booking now! Any tips for seating @theatremonkey? The upper has some cheap seats but i've only sat in the stalls & dress at the Adelphi.... As long as you go central the view is pretty good, sides of the front section will lose sides of the stage though . Doesn’t feel too distant dother, at least I found that to be the case for Kinky Boots anyway

For this show I think it's important to try and go in central seats, quite a bit happens at the sides. If torn, go for low number seats before high number seats so you don't miss the kitchen/counter scenes.

I booked, without O2 priority access. How? Simple! Alter the above URL to the date and times you would like to book for and EUREKA

Any preferences between the £60 seats at the back of the stalls and the ones at the back of the circle? Can't decide which to book and haven't been to the Adelphi before.
Edit: Realised how much cheaper tickets are during previews so will go then for my first visit, quite a steal really if you go towards the end of previews.

I know basically nothing about this show other than the score, I haven't even seen a photo of the set, so I've taken a real gamble on my seat choice. Gone and booked a cheap side dress seat for a preview performance, hoping it's not too much of a restricted view.

I know basically nothing about this show other than the score, Lady bakes pies. Isn't Mrs Lovett. 'nuff said.

Just booked for the last preview a £39 side stalls seat- absolute steal IMO
Interesting to see that an earlier preview has the same seat for £49.....

Would Jo Riding have been brilliant in this if she wasn’t in Follies?

Would Jo Riding have been brilliant in this if she wasn’t in Follies? Sara Bareilles: 38 Jessie Mueller: 35 Betsy Wolfe: 36 Katharine McPhee: 34 Nicolette Robinson: 30 Joanna Riding: 50 So for that reason alone, probably not!

Interesting, I don’t know the show enough to comment properly re age of cast. Just saw the Emma Williams piece and thought it was 2D and thought someone who could bring some more pathos/ acting ability to the role, maybe that is why I thought a bit older. Having a very limited exposure to the score, it really looks like it needs a diamond to bring this alight, Sheridan/ legally, Imelda/ gypsy. Like Wicked, it looks like the lead could make or break the show between brilliant and wow.

Is it better to get premium seats in the stalls or dress circle? I generally perfer to sit in the dress circle but after looking on seatplan I'm a bit concerned about leg room. I'm quite short 5'3 so shouldn't be an issue for me but my husband if 5'10, I just don't want him to feel cramped.
