Even though this wasn’t Waitress’s doing, watching Judy on This Morning getting ALL the relevant upcoming Waitress dates completely wrong was PEAK WAITRESS! 😂 Sara sang SUTBM and sounded amazing!

Anyone sat in Box C for Waitress?

No, but the view isn't bad from boxes - and C is on the best side to sit as you won't miss anything much at all. Fab! Booked!

Saw the matinee of Waitress today from the end of the 2nd row in the stalls, right hand side, the view was mostly good apart from the diner tables being in the way of any action at the counter. Sara Bareilles was insane as Jenna and Gavin Creel was very funny as Dr Pomatter. Laura Selwood was on as Becky, it was a shame not to see Marisha Wallace but Laura did a great job. Sarah O'Connor was on as Dawn and should have the role full time, imo, she's great in the role.

http://instagr.am/p/B9Z2YHZp2HS Natasha Yvette Williams who's played Becky on Broadway will be the new Becky here for a 3-week-run (according to her Facebook). Ahhh Natasha is such a good Becky so no one will be disappointed! 3 weeks tho ..... why is this show so bad at getting it’s Beckys and Dawns (isn’t Evelyn leaving soon also?) on longer term contracts lol! I mean maybe that’s by choice idk, but they’ve known for months Marisha is leaving so not sure why they’re just having Natasha do the role for 3 weeks. Unless this means we’re getting a big Becky stunt casting afterwards? Lol

Sara and Gavin to play their final performance tomorrow evening (sat 14th) Oh great. I booked to specifically see them next week, on the only date I could manage. I had a brilliant seat, too. Oh well, I can see where they're coming from. We shall have to wait and see what happens, I guess.

Completely understandable but slightly disappointing on a personal level. Booked for next Saturday to see Sara as Jenna again, glad I got to see her last week though. Wonder whether Lucie and David will come back from Monday or if the understudies will get to cover the week.

Saw this last night with Sara at the helm and, what can I say? Having previously thought this a mediocre musical, last night I thought it a very good musical.
Sara and Gavin have perfect chemistry together. The always excellent Joel Montague is always excellent and you also can't fault this with him in the cast.
Centre Row C stalls seat through one of the deals was probably the best seat in the house. A perfect view, good rake, perfect sound.
I think all the other leads were on, but the screens were down inside the entrance area, so I never saw a cast list.
This is disappointing for people who don't get to see Sara and Gavin, but quite understandable in the circumstances. I am so glad I got to see them. There was a full standing ovation as you'd expect.

I’ve just booked a £35 stalls seat for tonight, I really want to catch Sara and Gavin one last time so I’m going to brave London but then no theatre for the forseeable I’ve decided, I reckon they could be closing up by the end of next week anyway.

Was at Sara and Gavin's last show tonight- atmosphere was lovely, lots of clapping/cheering/laughing and a standing ovation for Sara after SUTBM. Stalls sadly had quite a lot of large gaps but understandable I suppose.
There was no speeches/flowers or anything for the leavers, they just walked off as usual, which I thought was a shame particularly for Sara as it was probably her final night ever performing in her own musical.

Super lucky that by unfortunate circumstances (in Sara and Gavin cutting their runs short) I was there for their final show.
I cried a lot (I think the world this last week has taken its toll on me mentally and by being anxious), but it was really wonderful to see Gavin, and particularly Sara get to play these roles one last time.
Thanks for taking us to the moon ❤️

OK, anyone who was possibly spat on by the cast in the first row during the end of the run, hmm...

Be well!

So they're confirming the news in a round about kind of way. Sad for the cast
