Chiquitita is my definite favourite so far, but I like them all. (Is it just me or is Fernando just the Mamma Mia HWGA recording but without Andy Garcia?)

I love that Graham Norton is the voice over for the tv advert for this. Level up camp and I am HERE for it.

Says a lot about the state of new music and for their durability that Rod Stewart and Cher are Nos 1 and 2 in the album chart.

She's touring Australia and New Zealand at the moment, doing US Arenas next year so I'd guess she'll do European dates sometime especially with the album doing well. Good chance for fans to see her for what could be the last time as a lot of her shows in recent years have been in Vegas and in her 70's she is unlikely to want to do long haul tours too much.
I think her last UK dates were in about 2004.

I'm anxious to get good tickets, is it worth waiting for the rush for the first London date to subside and book for the newly announced ones? So much pressure!

I'd be very surprised if there were no more London dates, especially as she is at anothet successful point in her career with her album, Mamma Mia 2, a Broadway show etc. I'd guess it will be at least three dates in London.

Is there nothing this woman will not cash in on? 💰🙄 Well, no, there isn’t. But her album cover pose is copying ABBA, which is original artist of all the songs on the album.

Just got mine in the presale, prices are phone numbers but on this occasion I just bit the bullet and did it, I know how special this is going to be! Sat fairly near the back mind, while I can just about stretch to £90, £150 each when you're buying three tickets is frankly preposterous

I hadn’t realised this until Bette Midler posted it on her twitter a few days ago - Cher hasn’t been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. How has this happened? I would have thought she would have been inducted by now considering her career is over 50 yrs old. The same for other artists like Tina Turner, Dolly Parton have yet to be given the honour. I wonder when these artists will be recognised?

That was without question one of the best concerts I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Sang along to every tune, Cher's voice is still astonishingly good and it turns out she's a great raconteur too! After All was a highlight for me as was I Got You Babe. The ABBA of course raised the roof. I wish I could Turn Back Time and watch it all over again!

Also thought she was brill. You have to hand it to Cher, she's 73, and still getting in to all of the costumes, and doing a bit of choreography, and belting out all of her tunes for two hours (on two consecutive nights) Of course the ABBA stuff made everyone go mad, but I just loved seeing her sing If I Could Turn Back Time (one of my top ten hits ever). She was sort of done by the middle of 'Believe' but that's hardly surprising - she'd changed costumes 10 times and belted out a good 15-20 hits too!

Saw the show last night in Manchester and had mixed feelings. Paul Young as support was atrocious. Most of his songs were unrecognizable and he was visibly struggling. Cher put on a fantastic show but the numerous costume changes and video montages really slowed it down. We sat down then stood up again so many times! At one stage it was a costume change between each song. Loved the Abba segment, totally cheesy but fabulous and the rock section was brilliant- great to see her in the iconic lacy outfit. She raised a few laughs and cheers even before the show started by peeping round the edges of the curtain at the sides of the stage. Overall glad I got to see her but felt sorry for those, like my friend, who had paid £400 for her to perform 14 songs.

A bit sad I missed the London shows last weekend, but it was a conscious decision: I couldn’t justify the ticket price with the setlist, which I felt could have easily included an additional 3 or 4 of her own hits. I know they were her first tour dates here in over a decade, but I hope they aren’t her last - she never seems to stop working!
Anyway, now Diana Ross has announced a UK tour I’m sort of glad I didn’t buy a last minute Cher ticket in the end. Priorities lol.
