Well it's still a long away off. (They haven't even confirmed dates as yet - just sometime in 2019)
Just off the top of my head , I'll suggest Ryan Corr - Harry Sarah Snook - Ginny Eryn-Jean Norville - Hermione Mitchell Butel - Draco . I know Mitchell is a bit older for the part but he can pull off younger I think.
Of course I have no idea if any of these actors are interested or would be available, just my musings. (And Eryn-Jean is involved in the Geoffrey Rush case awaiting hearing, so that might effect her availability)

I know very little of Australian theatre, but i think its fairly safe to say that we wont be getting a white Hermione with this production, as mistressjojo suggests.

No word on casting, but an update on ticket sales and opening date. From www.harrypottertheplay.com"The producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have announced tickets for the Australian premiere production will go on sale to the general public at 9am (AEST) on Monday 6 August 2018 via HarryPotterThePlay.com. Those who sign up to the mailing list by Sunday July 29 2018 will receive priority booking access before tickets go on sale to the general public. The record-breaking, multi-award winning production will open exclusively in Melbourne with performances confirmed to begin at the Princess Theatre from Wednesday 16 January 2019. The full cast will be announced at a later date."

I'm sure that as soon as there is any news at all, or even a whiff of a rumour, it'll be posted here.

From my minimal knowledge of Australian theatre, I would hazard a guess at Elise McCann as Ginny, But I'm not sure on the rest.

I think at this point, considering you've asked the same question multiple times in various threads over a period of months, you might just have to accept that you're going to have to make your own mind up on this one. Most of us aren't based near enough to Melbourne to know who will be cast, who might be cast, who should be cast, who is even any good, and even if we were, only you know if you're happy to see the Melbourne cast (whoever they end up being) or on balance would much rather pay for a trip to New York.

I’m sure you’ll have no need to worry with the Melbourne cast. Particularly considering they will be the debut players in Australia, the team will do anything to ensure they get the best people for the job, especially on its first outing on that side of the globe. Save your money, see it in Melbourne. It’s unlikely you’ll be disappointed.

Lucy Durack is a horrible actress as are many I have no opinion either way on Lucy Durack, but she primarily works in musical theatre . So not sure why she'd spring to mind for this, which isn't a musical? And who's to say you won't be disappointed with the NY casting? Basically a trip to Melbourne -with the chance of being disappointed with the cast - will cost a helluva lot less than a trip to NY with an equal chance of disappointment.

If this worries you, congratulations on your life! Well yes but its my passion to have a perfect trip In my experience it’s better not to have extremely high expectations going into a trip - it usually leads to disappointment. Things are rarely ever perfect, but if you allow for the odd bump in the road at least you’re prepared for them. Otherwise if you do choose to travel to NYC that’s one expensive disappointment. No matter which cast you see, the show is fantastic.

So i could add on NYC to that or see Disneyland?

Thank You @tom89 I have not heard of these actors. Which in itself is not a problem. But they are 'apparently' from Australian TV. which worries me. Has anyone seen them on stage?

The only member of the cast I have seen on stage is Paula Arundell ( Hermione). She's a regular player with the Sydney Theatre Company and I've seen her in loads of things and is always good. However she was outstanding as Banquo against Hugo Weaving's Macbeth in their 2015 production. I've not seen Gyton Grantley live, but he played Jason in Hand to God earlier this year. He's certainly better known for playing criminals on TV (for which he won an Outstanding Actor Logie Award) and films.
Don't forget we don't have the amount of stage work available for actors that say London or New York has. Many of our finest actors work o the telly.
