Intresting how its only doing a week in each venue I wonder which bus this tour will use hoping it's the Second tour bus. But I wonder if we could be getting a completely new production of the show or we may be borrowing the Australian tour set

I’ll have to try and catch this at the Playhouse. Hopefully tickets will be nice and cheap/affordable.
Is it same producers as last time or is it a Kenwright/Selladoor style production?

Second one had the sides

Found it harmless enough the first time but the theatre was full of hen parties (who ended up fighting!), only thing is I hope Donovan stays back stage this time, he was rubbish, no personality and badly sung!

Apparently there is a new bus too. That's exciting. It's crazy that as one of my favourite feel-good shows I never saw it in London but many times on tour. I've never seen it with the full big fantastic bus!

I've never seen it with the full big fantastic bus! I don't think we'd ever get a tour bus on the scale of the original London one as it would be too big (as much as I'd love to see it- the moment it was revealed onstage still ranks in my top five theatre moments) I thought the last tour did a pretty good job of replicating it as near as they possibly could.

Sounds ghastly. I refused to see it because I was convinced it would ruin my cherished feelings towards the original film.

I hope Mark Inscoe plays Bernadette - he was the best I ever saw.

I hope Mark Inscoe plays Bernadette - he was the best I ever saw. Mark Inscoe was indeed very, very good as Bernadette in the Queens Theatre Hornchurch production in May this year - so good that unfortunately he made most of the remainder of the cast look slightly amateurish by comparison.

Just on Mark Inscoe, I didn’t see him in this, but I’ve seen him in a few roles previously and I got to know him as a nipper. He lived near me and helped out/directed with a local theatre hobby group.
One of the nicest guys in the business and a solid, consistent worker with a great voice. He also hasn’t aged a DAY since I first met him, oover 15 years ago. If you’re reading this, Hi Mark!

Interesting casting with Joe. I’d love to see Richard Grieve return as Bernadette.

This is on at the Festival Theatre in Malvern in October. A lovely smallish theatre totally renovated with all new seats. Recently saw the touring Evita there which was absolutely fine although personally for me I don't get the same buzz of going to some of the West end theatres. Top prices are £37 so good pricing as well so worth going to.
