Did they send out the emails to the general public yet? Or are most of you members?

FYI... NT replied to me on Twitter about my question of multiple ballots, to say... "Hello, apologies for the late reply. There is only one ballot, essentially if you're a member the odds are better. Whatever happens you must book in the 24 hour window you get if you win."

Wonder how many actually entered in the end, or if they decided to let every member have a shot? I'll keep my fingers crossed then as I'm a member and no e-mail... yet!

I've got an email and am not a member. Am most surprised. Trying to remember what I'm meant to be doing in work at that point.

I'm not a member either and I received an email. Various friends and family members of mine had entered the ballot in order to win tickets as well, so I guess I got lucky. Let's hope all goes well next week.

Is it time for a Theatre Board +1 Ballot?
I now know what question to ask at the meet up, apologies to anyone I’m rude to as schmooze the ballot winners explaining how much better a Theatre partner I am to whoever they are going with.

It's not six yet so I still have hope and am regularly checking my phone. My options for dates are so limited but they include midweek matinees so maybe they might have tickets left or (at least) day tickets if I camp out from the early hours. I haven't missed a new Martin Crimp play here for over two decades.

I know people who have received emails telling them they havent been successful in the ballot - which is odd and contrary.

I guess if they've got a lot to send then they're deliberately throttling the mails for safety..

It turns out I was busy those weeks after all.
Well done to all that were successful, plenty more plays in the sea.

Booooooooooo
Thank you for entering the ballot for When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other.
I am sorry to say that you were not successful in securing an opportunity to book tickets through the ballot. Regretfully, on this occasion, we cannot accommodate all who might wish to see the production.
We will not be running a Friday Rush allocation of tickets for this production, but we will still have day seats available. On the day of a performance, a limited number of Day Tickets will be available in person at 9.30am from the ground floor box office.

Bad luck email here as as well. Fine. No hard feelings. Perhaps I'm just not meant to see any of Katie Mitchell's productions - last time, when I booked to see "Lessons in Love and Violence" at the Royal Opera House, I didn't go. I was visited by the lovely London Ambulance Service paramedic instead. That was a sign, I guess.
Anyway - congratulations to all who succeeded, and please write lengthy reviews!

Also unsuccessful but I’m not that bothered - Cate Blanchett was sat on the other side of the room when I went for dinner at Musso & Frank Grill in Hollywood back in September, so it’s not like I’ll be going to the grave regretting not having seen her at any cost.

My partner got a "bad luck" email only one hour ago. I still haven't received anything but I don't hold out much hope. A shame I would have loved to see this - more for Mitchell, Crimp and Dillane than Blanchett who I used to work with so isn't so interesting for me, though she's a fantastic actress obviously.

I was unsuccessful in the ballot. They've said they're not doing Friday rush but will offer day seats. How crazy do we think the day seat queue will be?
