Yup, definitely a pin badge in the bag. Have to say, I disagree with the comment about Alice Fearn - she seemed to be having a lot of fun with her characters tonight.

The moment that broke me: 'All good things, right?'
And, agreed! Alice definitely seemed to be having fun.

I was in row E right hand stalls for this evening's final performance, the atmosphere was electric! What a beautiful show this is, and as sad as it is that it's now closed they went out on such a high, the entire cast smashed it. Everyone around me was in tears, including myself, it felt so good to be there tonight to see it off. Lovely little tote bag on every seat full of CFA goodies too.
Can't wait to catch it on tour in 2024!

Electric atmosphere last night! What an emotional ending to it’s run….like others have said the whole cast threw themselves into their last performance, including Alice Fearn. Good luck to them in whatever they all do next!

It was a very special performance. Everyone in the audience obviously loved the show and wanted to be there (not a rustling sweet wrapper in sight, just tissues), the atmosphere was electric.
I wonder what size venues they will be looking to book for the tour. Would it have the same impact in a larger theatre? Would they be able to sell them out enough? I'm assuming they will go mid sized.

Also thought it was adorable some audience clapped (perfectly in sync) along to Kevin J's 'freaking 👏 the f 👏 out 👏'- normally it would peeve me but you could feel it was all out of love (and such an enormous amount) last eve.

For me a lot of the audience behaviour last night *bordered* on annoying and if it wasn't closing, I would have been pretty mad. If the actress on stage is singing excellent notes can we please listen to and appreciate them BEFORE we shriek about it? It would be nice to actually hear them! I get that it was closing night, but that also makes me want to hear what's being sung even more, if it's for the last time.

Caught myself thinking this a few times too, a couple of little lines/notes I usually enjoyed were completely drowned out (but then I was in Grand Circle). Felt a little anxious for the cast every time there was an extended cheer as so many entrances rely on the beat but they took it in impressive stride. But was thankful (and very warmed) that there were more instances everyone knew the libretto/score well enough to know exactly when to stop cheering and let the actor continue without missing a beat!

I’ve seen this show so many times I’ve lost count and I was there for the 2 final performances. The love and kindness in the theatre was palpable, so much joy. I shed a tear as I am genuinely bereft that this show has ended and that we won’t see the tour until 2024. I did see people outside the theatre handing out leaflets for a trip to see it performed in Gander later this year, I suspect a very expensive experience

Never mind all the "projects" in the run up to get attention. Just enjoy the show folks! Everyone there is a fan, same as you. Thankfully it calmed down as shrieking and whopping at a show based on a natural disaster doesn't always work out so well... A highly enjoyable evening and very emotional. Loved the speeches. Sadly we had none of the same at Mary Poppins this afternoon.

Was also at the final performance last night. Previosuly seen the show 4 times previosuly and its just as emotional every time.
Was sat at the very end of the back row of the dress circle and the experience was made even better by having the standbys standing on the stairway beside me watching the show with the ushers. Made the show feel that bit more emotional seeing their reactions to the show, until they left just as "Somewhere In The Middle Of Nowhere" began.
Hopefully the tour next year comes somewhere close to me. Its just one of those shows I can watch again and again.

This is the link www.ticketstravel.co.uk/comefromawayThis looks amazing! If I didn't have so much planned already for next year, I'd be considering this. I wonder if they'll do a repeat trip if this one is a success.

For those of us who haven't signed up to receive the info - how much are we talking? £3150 …with a few too many free days of wandering about in Newfoundland for my liking.
