I’ve been three times since reopening, turned up around 30 mins before the show each time with no issue.

While you can show up whenever, for the sake of the poor front of house staff, it is worth getting there slightly earlier than usual. Covid checks take time (and this theatre does do them!) and if everyone shows up ten minutes before curtain, it's a nightmare for everyone involved! They really don't take much time at all, or at least they didn't on opening night - they had different staff members checking the various documents while people were in the queue and I was in the building in less than a minute, 10 minutes before curtain.

I'm speaking from experience as a steward. Everyone showing up at once, ten minutes before the show is supposed to start, frequently causes delays and angry customers - all of which can easily be avoided if people turned up just a little earlier!

Has anyone been to this lately? My tickets say arrive 60-90 mins before the performance. I know they're checking covid status and I like to be in good time but this seems a bit excessive. I went to the first show, arrived about five minutes before the start and was in within a minute. It helps to be organised with the tickets etc ready and to not have a bag, but unless you like waiting around or browsing the merchandise there's no need to be really early. (I know the theatres want to spread the arrivals out)

The checks don’t take long, as long as you already have your Covid pass open - logging onto the app is the most time consuming part of the process.

I used a screen shot of my pass, was easier than logging into the app

When venues like the Phoenix require proof of Covid vaccination, does anyone know if they accept the card and if not what happens if that's all you have and no smartphone ?
I've requested a NHS letter but have several shows booked this week.

Much easier than trying to find it on the app especially with your mask on and glasses steamed up so can't see the phone screen.

If so, as Poster J says, you can now download a covid pass from either the NHS app or the NHS website (which is presumably where you requested the letter). Also for those with an iPhone - you can also now add the covid pass from the app to your Apple wallet. Both of these have to be updated every 30 days - but it only takes a few seconds to do so.

Anyone knows, if Day Seats still exist for this (says front row 20GBP from 10am in person on the webssite) and when best to get to the theatre for them (mid-week)? Thanks!

I will download this and watch the filmed version on my birthday. Which just happens to be on THAT date, 11th September (9/11)
By now i think i have seen every documentary on the subject, and all the footage from every available angle. It will be a very nice change to see something uplifting about it.
It really is one of those events where you can remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard the news. I was in the office, sat in the far corner, opening birthday cards from the team. I have never been out to a restaurant or bar that was as quiet as it was that night. It felt bizarre to even be out that night.

Are there any plans for the 20th anniversary shows on Saturday?

Thanks @kevin
What you wrote makes complete sense. I hadnt really thought about people who might not have experienced 9/11 themselves, It really doesnt seem like that long ago, despite it being 20 years ago this week.
I couldnt imagine how they were going to write a 9/11 based musical, but its honestly so uplifting and should be seen by everyone. I hope this AppleTV version reaches a wide audience.
Side note: The film 'Worth' on Netflix, starring Stanley Tucci and Michael Keaton is worth a watch, about the aftermath on families from that day.

Do they usually wear in-ear monitors for this show? They're wearing them in the filmed version.

Just watched the trailer. Staging looks a bit different from the London production
