I am going on a little trip to London in a couple of weeks and I would really love to see Come From Away. I have been deliberately avoiding this thread to avoid any spoilers, because I have a feeling it might be something really special, so I would like to go in as blind as I can ready for the surprises! I saw an offer on TodayTix for a seat in the back of the stalls (row P) for £49.50. Or alternatively at the back of the dress circle (row H) for the same price of £49.50. This seems like a good deal, but I was hoping anyone could confirm that this is a good deal and/or direct me somewhere else I would like to get decent seats since I think/hope I will be enjoying it very much

For the staging of this show it’s a good angle to see it from.

Upper Circle has no legroom!

Thanks for all the insights! I just looked at the ticket prices for tomorrow to see how the dynamic pricing works and it really is a sneaky business! But you are absolutely, right @theatremonkey, waiting for the dynamic pricing might be a better option. So I will be patient

So I will be patient I’ve always managed to get £25 rush tickets when I’ve wanted them on TodayTix. Up to you whether you risk it, although they seem to be easily available most days.

I saw this on Monday night as I wanted to see the original London cast before they leave on Saturday. What a fantastic show! Such a heartwarming story out of tragic circumstances and told so wonderfully. It’s so clever how they can slip in and out of each character with limited costumes and props.
Rachel Tucker was fabulous as Beverley Bass, Broadway are lucky to have her. It was also a special moment, as a Wicked fan, to see her and Clive Carter on stage together again, at one point dancing across the front of the stage during the kissing the fish ceremony.

Interestingly enough, Tania Mathurin (currently a standby on the show) was the Midwife and u/s Morrible during Rachel and Clive’s run in Wicked!

Very excited that my friend is joining the cast on Monday! I’ll be honest the show hadn’t appealed to me but since she has been in rehearsals I’ve been listening to the sound track and really like the idea of it. Will have to make the trip south to see it.

Was naive enough to think I'd actually have a shot at TodayTix rush tickets for today's shows 😂 Anyone going tonight?

Just a heads up, if anyone is really wanting to be there tonight, all the SEATS have been sold, but they've released standing positions at the back of the Grand Circle for £19.50 (plus £3.65 ATG online fee). Hurry up if you want them! I'm sure they'll all go.

Please post reports/pics of this afternoon and this evening. I'm not a massive musicals fan but sometimes one strikes a chord and this one certainly has.

Looking forward to hearing reports on tonight’s performance soon. At the matinee you could sense how the cast were feeling.
During the “I hadn’t let myself cry the entire time” line, it was the first time I’d ever seen Clive burst into tears of genuine sadness. Rachel also took several moments to compose herself this afternoon. I feel so attached to the show in its current form with this cast, for the first time in my theatre going experience I’ve felt truly sad to see a cast change.

I was going to the last two shows but managed to get a rush ticket for mid stalls on Friday so ended up at the last three.
Friday was wonderful calm before cast change chaos. We had Chiara on for Beulah, Jennifer on for Bonnie and Brandon as Kevin J/Ali, none of which I had seen previously so I was very pleased. I went to stage door after and it was such a lovely experience. I doubt it would have been the same the next day! It looked absolutely packed.
Saturday was very emotional. I cried buckets. It was lovely that Jonathan came back from his paternity leave to do the last show with this wonderful cast. There were loads of tears and some great speeches from the producers at the end. Thanking the cast for taking a chance on this show and saying they had asked incredible West end performers to be in an ensemble for a year and move chairs around 😊
The atmosphere was electric but never overlapped into bad behaviour (at least where I was sat anyway) and emotions ere through the roof. I have so much love for this incredible show and this cast.

Huge applause and cheers right after Welcome To The Rock last evening, so much that Clive had to wait a bit longer before starting the next scene! First time standing in the Grand Circle so did not get to see as much detail as I would've liked- but noticed Cat and David (the best vocals in the cast IMO) sounded particularly emotional with their voices quavering at one point while singing, which made myself well up too. I haven't seen the Broadway production live only heard the cast recording, but love this original London cast so much- their voices blend so well together, I will miss them a lot.
Heartfelt speech from the producers at the end thanking cast and audience for trusting and supporting them along this production's journey- Brandon took a selfie at the very end, found this picture of him taking the selfie:

Managed to get a last minute ticket for this on Thursday. Wasn't planning to see this, but really did want to see Rachael and the original cast one last time.
I went on ATG around 16:00 and got a front row seat for £29.50!
The stage is high, but I didn't miss anything. In fact this might have been my favourite time watching the show. Rachael was amazing, but once again Cat Simmons stole the show. I cried, no shock.
So glad I caught this once more before the new cast. This is without a doubt one of, if not, the best show on in London right now! Will return to see the new cast in the summer I imagine.

It's a very special show and I'll never forget this Original London Cast. I hope the newcomers create something just as special so that this show can continue to touch hearts for a long time to come.

I agree, it was the best show I saw in London last year - absolutely loved it.
