The FOH staff at the Phoenix are just delightful too. A lovely evening at the theatre. In praise of the FOH staff - I went for a second visit on the 18th April, the Thursday before the long Easter break. Stalls row c seat 12 on the aisle - FOH guy whose name I especially made note of and have forgotten* (!) brought 2 patrons to the seats in front of me, B 12 and B 11. Him an elderly gent, her an elderly woman. Me with my big nose (and bigger ears) hear him explain that the only thing they won't see is the floor of the stage, and it's on a revolve so they won't miss anything and "the lady over there (points to B14) is also visually impaired". And would madam like a booster seat? She's small, he gets one (doesn't block my view or anything that stage is so high). He explained that it was straight through with no interval and told them were the nearest WC's were in case they were needed. And was there anything else he could do for them? Smashing guy! *Might have been Michael ...

Looks like they've put some unsold front row day seats on the ATG website for £15 for tonight if anyone's interested.

Switched on BBC4 just now and there was some footage (current and archive) of Gander airport - this was episode 2 of "Supersized Earth". The Gander bits were about 45 minutes in. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01p58r8

I'm in Manchester this week and went to Tim Horton's purely because of the Come From Away connection! My boyfriend used to live in Canada though so think he was keen to go in too.

Saw this on Saturday (after seeing it for the first time the weekend previous) has to book again so soon.
Such a beautifully crafted piece of theatre. I cried a lot. Saturday’s performance was understudies galore and I was initially upset to not see Rachel tucker for a second time but Kirsty Malpass was an excellent standby.
This show has such heart and I like that there are moments that aren’t all pure good human nature. If that makes sense.
I also sat next to two guys - one said to the other ‘you’re the only person I know who didn’t like company’ and the other proceeded to say negative things about Patti LuPone. I wanted to get involved! His friend told him to keep his voice down as he might get a punch in the theatre!

Quick question, considering buying a ticket for Weds matinee but need to know: is there an aisle on the left and right of the stalls at this theatre, not just down the centre? (I’d be looking at buying in rows B to E).

Fantastic news.
Seeing it this afternoon, by the way! First time at the upper circle in a long time. Good thing I didn't forget my glasses this time 😂

Anyone think this could tour? Eventually yes, but I think they’d be crazy to try and tour it whilst it’s running in town. And they should aim to play the smaller venues.

I’m dying to see it but not sure can justify a London trip. Would be a easy show to tour surely with such a small company. Fingers crossed!

Does anyone know if the full cast was on last night or was anyone out sick or away?

What in your expert options are the best value seats for 75 or less? I’m so tempted and considering taking my parents to give me an excuse!
