World premiere announced for the Churchill Theatre, Bromley from Thursday 24 January to Saturday 2 February 2019. Not clear yet if it's touring afterwards. This promises to be a jukebox musical with all of your favourite 80s classics. Just to whet your appetite a bit more, here's the synopsis: With all the interest in the 80s on the board, I know there'll be a rush to buy these before they sell out, so here's a link: churchilltheatre.co.uk/Online/tickets-club-tropicana-bromley-2019Just think. You could "Relax" or be "Making Your Mind Up" (skirt ripping entirely optional).

Can this really be true? Where the "drinks are free"?
Can Ryan get a season ticket?
So many questions....

As long as these are the costumes, I'm there. Seriously George, God rest his soul, how could no-one have known?

Great news for those of us far from Bromley. We can miss it in a venue closer to home.

Why does this have Shane Richie written all over it, a year before it opens?

This looks so tacky... I'm in! Same here! I’ve got a horrible feeling that this is a show that will attract really awful audiences, with the drunks and the loud sing along types.

Is that all the tour dates or are more to be announced? I can't say I'm overly bothered about seeing it but my friend wants to go (and I do love a good 80's song) so I'm just wondering whether it's likely to come closer to us or if we're going to have to travel further for it

a. I am worried about the health and safety implications of using a CD Walkman while in a swimming pool b. The plot appears to be based on "Duty Free".

The fact they're trying to compare this to Love Island and hook in those fans via the online markets makes its massive avoid from me.

I’m just wondering if they will try and get an 80s “pop icon” for this?

The script pretty much writes itself doesn't it
"You've changed so much from the simple cocktail bar waitress you were when we met ..."
"I can't believe you're treating me like this after all those happy times we spent together last Christmas ..."
"Things would be so much better if they would just free Nelson Mandela ..."
etc

Club Tropicana, drinks are free Fun and sunshine, there's enough for everyone Unless your at an ATG But don't worry, you can order from your seat!

Watched the atrocious 'Walking on Sunshine' film on tv at the weekend and it sounds like this could be very similar.
