I am appalled to see that ‘Turn The Beat Around’ does not feature. This is a banger of the highest order. Why leave it out? Maybe because it wasn’t an Estefan original? Although haven’t seen the song list so there may be other covers which blows this theory out the water!

I just looked at the track listing on itunes. Doubt they’ll change it...

For people interested in seeing this show in Leicester who don't want to pay the earth to see it ticket prices at Curve start at £10 and go up to £35 for 'top price' seats according to their website, which seems very reasonable considering Miss Saigon/Les Mis and Matilda have been around the £60 mark - granted different producers etc.
Discounted tickets will also be available: £20* Under 16s £25* 16 – 26 yrs £2.50 off for over 60s and registered unemployed £4 off for Groups 20+ 15% off for Members

I am amazed the ENO are doing this to themselves again after apparently trashy audiences from Bat and Chess. I am not sure what the market for this is, she's had a few good tunes but she's no Tina It’s not an English National Opera production. ENO have rented out the the Coliseum, the theatre they own and predominantly use. The rental for this will stage various operas such as works by Janacek and Wagner

Do we think that anyone will come over from the Broadway production?

Lots of promotion for this one already, they are lucky to have Gloria so involved.

Most reviews in Holland described it as an outdated party musical with a weak script.
Didnt sell that good either.
Hope production in UK will be different.

Tickets so expensive at the moment..kind of ridiculous Can you make it to Leicester? Tickets are by far more affordable, some seats at £10, top price £45. Plus it’s a smaller venue than the Coliseum.

This is still happening right? It's supposed to open this summer, yet this thread is awfully quiet.

This is the least buzzed about musical I've seen in the West End in a good while. It was announced ages ago yet since it's announcement, I've heard literally no buzz about it whatsoever. No posters, no word of mouth, no nothing. Which seems a shame as it looks fun at least!
*crosses fingers for a discount or comp*.

Well the cast or creative team haven't been announced yet. I imagine the campaign won't start on this until all that's announced and that's what will kick start the push.

On the topic of that, it wouldn't hurt to start that push as soon as possible. Considering the show opens in the middle of June and it is now the middle/end of February.

I probably will get tickets for this at some point.
I love Gloria and her music but I do usually find jukebox musicals corny/cringe.
But there is such a lack of stuff that appeals to me in the West End this year, that I'm getting desperate for things to see that, in previous years, would not have been essential.
