Going by the way prices have risen since Cinderella I guess next year the tickets, no matter who stars, will start at 200.

Can someone with more time than me do a spreadsheet that calculates which of the kids were plants? Thanks Been told by someone who worked on the production that the first 3 kids are legitimate audience members, but the last kid is a plant. Rotated between 3 different girls. I saw Connie.

That’s what I did! Easy... Not sure prices were much higher in 2018. I got a decent 4th row stalls seat for £67. Admittedly I booked early and I'm sure dynamic pricing kicked in later on. Bloody good value for money by the way!

I paid £77 for Row G for Cinderella and have not seen that price since.
And condolences to everyone waiting to see Charlie next year. You will just have to see him in Mary Poppins with no tights just regular trousers.

Please say the aint planning on showing someone from reality TV into next years production. Like Diversity who were in last years? Diversity may have been from a reality TV show but they are very talented. The questions on today's survey asked about Love Island and Gogglebox. I have no problem with genuine talented individuals from reality TV Shows but forgive me for doubting the performing arts ability of those in Love Island and Gogglebox.

I thought Diversity were the worst part of Dick Whittington. There was literally no reason for them to be there, other than to hold the production up for an extended dance breaks that went on for way too long.

It makes me sad to hear people dismiss acts like Diversity so easily. Panto has a long tradition of having variety acts like them in, and it's a tradition that has sadly been lost in recent years and it's great to see it returning. Panto shouldn't be dominated by just the main headline acts. They really should be ensemble productions

Panto shouldn't be dominated by just the main headline acts. They really should be ensemble productions I don't think it helped they were playing The Sultan yet they then had the same backing tracks they've had since Britian's Got Talent, with it stopping every minute just to go "Diversity" then carry on. That didn't make any sense. I think if their routines actually fit in with the style of the rest of the show, it would have worked. But for me it glaringly stood out.

You could argue that there was no place for Vincent and Flavia in Snow White. Maybe not exactly reality show, as they were pro's on Strictly, but their two appearances were somewhat contrived (although beautiful to watch).

I was going to use those two as an example but I didn't see Snow White so I can't judge that. Either way, I still think Cinderella was the best The London Palladium have done of the two I've seen, and in large part that was due to Paul O'Grady and the Act 1 Finale, which was truly magical.

Hmm... well "Scotty" from Geordie Shore is about to "star" in our local panto, an adult version of Jack and the Beanstalk. He was supposed to be playing Jack but apparently he is incapable of learning the lines. So, there's been an amendment, he is now playing the Giant. And his lines are now pre recorded. Genius...

Any ideas or rumors as to what next years panto will be. Looking at the 2019/2020 pantos, Qdos has only two productions of Jack and the Beanstalk running (Glasgow and Darlington) considering its a very popular panto title. I think it would be a good call for the palladium.

Does anyone remember the performance schedule for this? Was it the same as the previous years? Thanks!

Thanks! Did the evening show start at 7pm? Was there a regular day with no show?
Thanks again
