Thought I’d make an Emmerdale thread for those of us who are Team Dales what with the Corrie thread being quite active right now. I think they’ve got some good storylines going on right now but I think the Bob/Brenda/Laurel one has been dragged out a bit long now and I’m getting fed up!

I'm not enjoying it. The Bob/Brenda/Laurel thing is dragging on way too much, who even cares, and not only that but there seems to be a warped sense of who's the bad guy in that scenario.
I can't stand Debbie, the Ross acid attack situation has turned from something that was actually a really topical gritty story to explore to being about drugs and gangsters.
They just did about the 20th flashback ep with charity that because they are so common now has lost it's effectiveness.
The only good thing right now is this new story starting with Chas but we'll see if that doesn't get ruined too.

I really miss Val, not the same without her. Didn’t even manage to see Charlie Hardwick in The Last Ship either which was a shame.

My dad had an expression which I think sums up my feelings toward Emmerdale atm. "It's as far fetched as sh*t from China".
