Couldn't get a seating plan and it looks like there's no ATG card benefits available at Traf Studios any more? Wasn't sure where the £15 tickets actually were - couldn't see Row CC on Theatremonkey's seating plan anywhere so decided to go for the £35 tickets - it gave me row R at the side. Edit: Checking a bit more thoroughly on Theatremonkey (damn that 10 minute basket time-out!) it looks like £15 for row CC would have been a bargain. Sod it. ATG don't own the Trafalgar Studios anymore, they provide the ticketing for Trafalgar Entertainment Group who do own the theatre. |

Booked without the plan mid afternoon and after selecting lots if different dates I finally found a fifteen quid ticket.
Am not going to lie, I've only booked because Orlando is in it. Big Pirates of the Caribbean fan!

some sites have AA on the side before BB and CC, some only BB and CC, confused. Hope my J Row has enough legroom for my 5‘2 self then i am ok with it

Ooh I was obsessed with his Elf/Pirate self in Uni. (Thanks kathryn for the reminder of how long ago that was haha) but I agree that his 'fangirls' are mostly now 'fanwomen' and as much as I'm not one of them any more they are not as shall we say 'forceful' as other groups out there... Anyway I doubt I'll be making a special trip for this. As much as I'd obviously like to see if he gets his Paddleboard out. |

I saw In Celebration twice because he was in it. And he wasn’t bad (not amazing either) - but Paul Hilton was the real star in that production. Such sublime acting.
Still, I do love myself some Orlando so if it fits in with a trip to London this Summer I’ll probably give it a go.

For which dates and areas? I couldnt see any in row CC for any dates and there were only some restricted in boxes.

The boxes are pretty good. The front seats in A are the best, as they are like being in a normal row. The side seats in B also have total legroom. The rest are movable chairs, so apart from the back seats in A, you should have decent space in all of them - more than you get in the main auditorium in most seats, for sure, at least. So prompt and helpful as ever, thanks Monkey! |

Just checked through - most inexpensive seats have gone - all I could see were a few less good box seats for some of the mid-week matinees - but I didn't check every date. I'm sort of interested in Tracey Letts, the playwright, which would have been the draw for me. But I don't love that space and can't see spending a lot of £££ on going to see it.

Wish I'd waited for the seating plan to turn up before I booked - it looks like the 'best available' system actually picked seats from the ends of rows inwards - there's more central seats available in row R right now, so presumably they were there when I booked too.
If Traf Studios were still part of ATG I'd be able to phone up and exchange. Tempted to ring them to complain anyway!

Having visited the Trafalgar Studios, I don't know that the centre is automatically better, especially once you get a few rows back. It's all VERY end-on, and there's a very limited amount of non-auditorium space; being over to the side won't noticeably affect my view but might be the difference between me getting the 10:30pm train or the 11pm train home.  |

I’ve just another look at the seating plan for the last matinee in August that I’ve booked for. I have to agree with Kathryn’s point at wishing I had waited for the seating plan rather than going for the first ticket that the computer system spat out at the time of booking. I’m sure the end seat R1 won’t be a bad view for £35, but I don’t really go for end seats as a I prefer a more central view. At present the central seats have now gone. Though there are loads of the £55 seats still unsold. As Kathryn has stated, I can see discounts and dynamic pricing coming into play to shift these tickets. Hopefully, from my POV there might be an upgrade from the back row. I managed to get an upgrade for Buried Child to a premium seat from the back row, so fingers crossed!
I cannot believe when booking opened that the more central seats where not available on the booking system. As Andrew stated, less central seats are not necessarily best available, and the fact these seats where not offered when I booked really sinks. But hey ho, I managed to get a cheapish ticket rather than forking out for the more expensive seats.

When I looked earlier the seat the other side of me (R3) was empty, and so were the four on the other end of the row. Maybe there's not much different between being right on the end and being 3 seats in, but if I'd had the choice I would have picked the latter. I guess it's possible that they were blocked out by being in someone's basket, and then released after. It's just annoying. Teach me to jump right in and book when I knew full-well it wasn't going to be a sell-out! |

The full cast set to join Orlando Bloom in Killer Joe in London this summer has been announced.
Tracy Letts’ debut play is set at a trailer park in Texas where the Smith family have hired a hitman to murder the matriarch and stake a claim to the insurance money. The man they hire is Joe Cooper, played by Bloom, who is a detective turned killer but when the family can’t afford to pay him up front, he calls for a more sinister means of pay.
Joining Bloom in Simon Evans’ production will be Sophie Cookson, Adam Gillen, Neve McIntosh and Steffan Rhodri.
Adam Gillen is currently starring in the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of Amadeus, which has been recently revived in the Olivier. He is also known for playing Liam in Benidorm.
Sophie Cookson’s screen credits include Sidney in the Netflix series Gypsy, and Roxy in the Kingsman films.
Neve McIntosh has appeared in several episodes of Doctor Who as Madame Vastra, and on stage she has appeared in productions of The Events, King Lear and The Merchant of Venice.
Steffan Rhodri is possibly best known for playing Dave of Dave’s Coaches in Gavin and Stacey, and also played Reg Cattermole in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One. On stage, he has appeared in James Graham’s This House, Richard Bean’s The Mentalists and Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park.
