I liked all of the songs (although as I said some should've been shortened) but there wasn't really a stand-out.
I think maybe some people were put off by the football but there wasn't too much of it.

The trailer video for the show put me off. It just seemed like a group of Asian girls playing football.

Oh I forgot to ask. Does anyone know if they ever did a souvenir brochure for it?

I've just booked for a 3rd and final visit this Saturday matinee (before Miss Saigon), I'd have gone closing night if I didn't have plans. It isn't the best show ever but I like it. The problem is all 3 times I have got a seat listed as top price in the dress circle for less than £20 at the weekend, a show can't survive like that. I'm kind of hoping for an understudy or two to see a different take before the show goes

This afternoon's performance will be filmed for archive purposes: And Natalie Dew is off, crap.

They filmed Monday's performance too. Must be a roomy archive.

Probably for Gurinder's archive more than anything, just to reminisce

They started filming some time last week and are apparently filming up until close - that's a lot of filming!

Is he/she on the new board? Parsley has been spotted, yes. I know all productions do tend to get filming for archives - however I rarely hear of them recording from multiple performances. Perhaps that's just the new way of doing things, as recording is cheaper to do.

I'm tempted to go again. What are the Box Office like? Do they give you cheap prices just before the show starts?

Usually shows don't do too many close ups as it annoys the audience.... but I suppose here.... well...

I'm glad that I went one last time. The show is still too long and I have problems rooting for someone who wants to play football (or any sport, for that matter), but apart from that Bend It is a nice little show. Standout performance for me was Sophie-Louise Dann. I love her accent. Really hope she'll find a new job quickly. Also found Jamie Muscato to be a much better Coach. And I'd love to see Lauren Samuels play Elphaba in the future. Slightly disappointed that Natalie Dew was off (she's truly fantastic), but her understudy made up for it.

I agree but as I won't get to see a second cast it was good that it was mixed up. Shame someone let a toddler into the circle but that's a story for abother thread I think

I was pleased I got to see this again on Thursday night before it closes, I really enjoyed it again! I was pleased to see Lauren and Priya as they were both off last time, although I did prefer the u/s Pinky. I was sat on the centre aisle, which was great as I love how the cast use it a lot for entrances and exits, and at one point I felt a rush of air as one of the guys ran past. It's a fun feel-good show and I hope it tours at some time.
