Gay teens living decades apart meet, with the help of a time machine in the shape of a wardrobe.

This sounds terrible - what is the betting that the time machines will be their respective closets in disguise? (Edit: It is! just read your comment again Burly) It’s not very inspiring based on the poster and description.

It sounds like a spoof musical from Modern Family... Closets Closets Closets Closets! The Musical!

It sounds very unimaginative and vapid to me... in 2018 I’m amazed that a plot and title like this are to be performed. It trivialises a very significant detail in the lives of a community which for some, is painful/sensitive. Maybe I’m just being a humbug, but it’s one sure fire way of ensuring I’ll go nowhere near it.

Here's an idea. Two gay people from widely different backgrounds meet under unusual circumstances. In violation of all dramatic expectations one of them is a man and the other is a woman. They strike up a strong friendship based on their respective experiences with absolutely no sign of a romance-against-all-the-odds plot anywhere, because it turns out that people don't have to be potential love interests in order to have compelling stories to tell.
(There's always the possibility that the show may surprise us, but nothing in the premise suggests that it will.)

So looking forward to seeing this in August. Have seen the short film and is a well written piece of work and film and looking forward to it being turned in to a musical.

Oh Lordy. Lloyd Daniels trying to act?
Apparently he had great trouble learning the lyrics to his songs in Joseph, and for some words they were having to phonetically teach him how to pronounce them, as his Welsh accent is almost unintelligible.
I'm almost tempted to go see it!

Could sell a few more tickets with him in it. Or one less, in my case... I cant look at that artwork anymore. The typeface is all off. I don’t know if it’s deliberate or not but it’s doing my nut in

When i first saw the ad, I first thought that it was a brave choice of subject - IKEA - the musical!

I thought it was trying to do a sort of perspective thing, but it just looks cockeyed.

Looks like they've spent as much on the artwork for this as they did the band for AoL
