Has anyone else seen this? Apologies if I've missed another thread.
We were there on Saturday and came away quite disappointed. The main issue was that we couldn't hear a lot of the main cast members! Unless they were directly facing our bank of seating, you couldn't hear anything they said which was a big pain. I don't think it was anything to do with the seats, we weren't particularly off to the side or anything. We could also hear nearly all of the supporting cast members with no problems, it was very odd.
The 'exit persued by a bear' was also disappointing - I wasn't expecting anything flashy, but it really was quite badly done and half of the audience didn't seem to realise what had happened.

This has to be the worst bear sequence I've seen, all the potential of that what must take some time and money to put together set and then the payoff is just embarrassing. The man next to me had seen it before and declined to tell me what the set structure was related to, we got to the interval and he said 'I didn't want to raise your expectations as to what might happen', he was quite right, it was just lame. Otherwise nothing wildly special but fine, flowed along nicely and kept me entertained which after hours stood in the rain was what I needed. The gender swapping (old shepherd and Autolycus) worked well and there was an interesting clothing/formality difference for the two countries. Solid cast, well put together and I was seeing this 10 hours in of standing in the rain in the cold so I suspect my response was perhaps somewhat muted by that.
