Well, there are two Tony winning English directors who are no-brainers to feature on that list ..... oh dear .... You’re going to have to narrow it down a bit for us: Tony for play, or musical ? Or both ?

I've been informed it's not actually one big article, it's an array of smaller ones, and they're going through some serious legal processing before they can be published. I've also heard that Ben Vereen is self-confessed garbage: ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/109047288.html

I hope this comes out soon, I hate the thought that I might be blindly supporting people who have committed sexual assault. I'm also very wary of people who come forward and say "I'd like to confess to not treating women with respect in the past", makes you feel like they're trying to pre-empt possible allegations.

For most performers/artists/creators, you are supporting their work - not their personal lives. The most important thing for me is what I see on stage or on screen.
Yes, there are many who behave so atrociously that their chances of getting further work is reduced almost to zero - but, in my eyes at least, that doesn't automatically taint the work they did before.
I would say that people should continue enjoying plays, musicals, books, restaurants - trying to second guess who you might choose to avoid in the future will get in the way of enjoying the things you love.

Well said.
