On my list for next trip to London with my daughter in a few weeks along with Fiddler and possibly Little Miss Sunshine.Never been to Arts Theatre so would really welcome some guidance on best options of where to try and get seats. Is it discounting anywhere and is the venue so intimate that distance to stage is not a problem from anywhere?

They haven't done any discounts for this run (that I know of - feel free to correct me anyone) apart from some tickets on the New Year Theatre Sale. They do Rush tickets on TodayTix but that's a risk as they're only sold on the day of. If you definitely want to book it you're better off booking in advance. For value for money, I'd recommend the front row of the slips seats, go for the ones closest to the stage. Check out the Arts Theatre on SeatPlan and you can see the view from all the seats, as well as reviews. It's a tiny venue so even if you're right at the back, you don't feel far away.

Anyone know if they're going to be doing British accents like the London cast?

Adrianna Hicks and Abby Mueller!!!!!!!!
I haven't even seen the show but know them two will be unreal in it!
I could see this doing a sizeable run in a nice off-broadway theatre!

Also, the Queens are performing on The One Show on BBC1 on 2nd April if anyone is interested in seeing them. As a result, the evening show that evening has been amended to 8.30pm.

No - the individual queen songs are all very different, as the queens are inspired by different singers. Personally, it's not my favourite song from the show - the title song 'Six' is my favourite.

I was dissapointed by the performance on The One Show. I feel it was an opportunity missed as the show should of performed the songs that would of either represented the whole show (Six, Ex Wives or Mega-Six) or at least the one solo that would appeal to most of the audience watching (like Heart of Stone). The performance itself was fine, but I can't help but think it would of been alot better to do a proper Ensemble performance or at least a real moment.

Twitter comments weren't too good after that performance.

Poor Lucy and Toby barely got a minute (maybe even less) thanks to the Have I Got News For You overload.
I actually thought it was a great performance that captured the spirit of the show well. Millie absolutely smashed it.
I can imagine those not familiar with the show being a bit bemused and thinking 'what the hell am I watching' though!

Twitter comments weren't too good after that performance. Wow if you search the #theoneshow hashtag on twitter a lot of the comments are brutal! I love the show but a performance like that totally out of context to a public who know nothing about it probably was never gonna go down well!

I heard them sing at the WOS awards and wasn't impressed and last nights performance on The One Show convinced me that's it's not something I would want to see. I know people who loved the show/concert but it's not for me.

No I don't think it's for me if that's an indication. I thought the singer they picked was just all a bit embarrassing, like the time Joss Stone suddenly turned up all American at the Brits.
Those other five must have been fuming though.

I haven't seen the show yet but I have tickets to see it in May. I've listened to the cast recording which I really enjoyed but I haven't seen any videos of performances or anything.
I was quite disappointed with the One Show performance and it made me doubt whether I would enjoy the show. I've only heard good things from other people and the concept is right up my street, but I just don't think that worked!
It was pointed out to me though that even my favourite band sounded crap on the One Show so probably not entirely the cast's fault and I probably shouldn't judge them on it!

I didn’t think the one show performance was bad, it’s just not something that works outside the context of the show.

I was really shocked at this. She sang random notes out of tune and didn't breathe properly - and this seems to happen each time any of the cast members sing outside of the theatre, West End Live, This Morning and now The One Show.
It's not like the songs are particularly hard to sing, either, and arguable Don't Lose Your Head is the easiest.
The album sounds much better in terms of vocals but obviously it's different performers.

True, it wasn't put in context at all, and unless you were really paying attention earlier in the show, you wouldn't even have known it was Ann Boleyn. Also, the last verse was cut (for being a bit saucy) and that's really the point of the number, as it explains how Henry came to order her execution.
I imagine it was chosen as they can't keep doing the same number and of all the solos, it at least involves the other five.
Such a shame that it didn't quite work and was not well received.
It's not representative of the rest of the show, there's a wide variety of "pop" styles; that one is Lily Allen/Kate Nash and is quite witty as a pastiche, I think. But if that's not to your taste, there's so much more to enjoy. The whole show is funny and sassy, and delightfully camp, but so difficult to represent in one short performance. So many people seem to be writing it off without even seeing it, which is a huge shame.

I agree about it not being representative of the rest of the show. I loved SIX when I saw it when it was in Glasgow on tour and I have booked again to see it in London. It's really sad that a lot of people have been put off seeing it by one performance as the show overall is great.
Some of the comments online are brutal though and a bit uncalled for. As someone else has already pointed out, most bands sound a bit rubbish on The One Show. I think Millie and the rest of the queens gave it a good bash with what song they were given to perform, despite not working very well out of context.
