She sang ‘Somewhere’ on something a few weeks ago and that was great, but I didn’t ‘get’ any of the choices she made in the execution of CEM. She is certainly a talent and was excellent in Waitress.

I felt so sorry for her after strictly. everyone singing on that night was let down by the sound quality.
And people commenting on the strictly facebook page were less than complimentary about her singing, even going as far to go to Marisha's facebook page to tell her she couldnt sing..!
Ive realised since that the strictly facebook page is often full of vile armchair critics though

Ive realised since that the strictly facebook page is often full of vile armchair critics though It definitely is. Horrible keyboard warriors who just like to tear into people. Having an opinion is one thing. Bashing a performer directly by messaging them with it is quite another. There's loads of people I don't but I have never felt the need to message them and tell them! We need more positivity right now. Or at least less rudeness.

Social media can be cruel sometimes. It is so easy to say stuff that you wouldn't dare say to someone's face or jump on the bandwagon of someone else.

Just saw her at The Arts Theatre. Utterly fantastic. A true star. Amongst a plethora of great numbers from her album and new stuff I particularly love, love, love her cover of Guy Sebastian's Before I Go. If the BBC want a proper singer to bring down the house and bring home the prize at Eurovision, given the right song, they could do a lot,lot worse than to get her to agree to it. I might start a petition!

Marisha was interviewed on Radio 2 this morning and mentioned she would be back in the West End next year in something not yet announced.(Although it may be something that has been announced just not the casting) I wonder what?

I've heard Marisha's new single " Little House In The Snow" a couple of times on Magic At The Musicals and agree with the presenter that it's a beautiful song deserving of Christmas Classic status. It's on You Tube with a lovely video. Worth a listen.

She's a powerhouse vocally. She was co-hosting the breakfast show on Magic Radio the other day and she said that she's just passed the Life in the UK test. Looks like she ain't going nowhere soon.

Absolutely adore how she passed her life in U.K. test to become a British citizen. Such a huge champion of Musical Theatre in this country since she came over for Dreamgirls.

She's a garden variety Adelaide. Why does she think she's reinvented the role? In what way? She's absolutely generic in this role. It's fine, but it's nothing groundbreaking. Vivian Blaine, Julia McKenzie, Faith Prince... they've all been incredible. Wallace: she's ok. She needs to calm down. She's become extremely arrogant.

Marisha apparently going to be on Celeb Big Brother this year!?? This is so random I’m shocked. But she is hilarious

I suspect she will be a little bit insufferable on this. She has taken to speaking about herself in the third person recently, and of all the people around her who ‘make up Marisha’

Marisha came across really well on the launch night. Funny, bubbly and personable. I loved her belting out 'And I am Telling you' as she entered the house. Great entrance. Hope she sticks around.

Marisha Wallace on CBB: “I hide the fact that I’m insecure some times. I have to be the strong, fierce, amazing woman that you see all the time. But when I’m at home, by myself, I’m scared, afraid of failing - I don’t wanna fail - cus I can’t. I have to take care of my family, I wanna buy my mum a home, I’m not doing it just for me, so that’s a lot of pressure. And I feel like I gave up a lot, like I’m not married, I don’t have kids. And I gave it all up for my dream. Like, I wanted this dream so bad.”

Lots of support for Marisha last night on late and live. I think she has come across very well on the show to be honest.

I think Fern will win over Marisha but we will have to wait and see.

If anything I think he is coming across quite dull. I’m not sure he’s doing enough to stand out as a winner. Marisha seemed to be doing well and started to stand out after her issue with Ekin-Su, but the last couple of episodes there has been talk about her acting rather than being sincere. A risk of being nominated potentially if that noise doesn’t die down.
