I've had a look to see if there's any other threads on this, can't find any so I'm posting. Although I dithered about whether this should be in the Musicals thread or the Performers/Creatives thread .... I love a Christmas performance, and I've always liked Scott Garnham, so I was a sure thing to book for this at The Other Palace (Studio). At Big Fish on Friday I was watching the screenshots playing ... just trying to chose a good date. Saw on Facebook last night there are a variety of other performers appearing on different nights with the Barricade Boys - some really fabulous ones too, all of my favourites fall on nights I'm elsewhere, dammit. www.theotherpalace.co.uk/whats-on/the-barricade-boys-christmas-cabaretYeah, I know it's not every ones cup of egg nog, but for £20 I'll give it a bash!

I do like the sound of this, but now I can’t decide which special guest I want to see! Are the BBoys a fixed line up for this run do we know, they seem to have various “teams” of performers?

Whatsonstage has suggested this as one of their "Alternative Xmas Shows" so that prompted me to look, as Sabrina Aloueche was listed as one of the guests and she impressed me when I saw her in a fringe musical a year or two back. Sophie-Louise Dann, too, who is definitely another big draw for me. As I feared, not only is this in the Studio, which I have never visited as being on my own, I don't want to book a table seat, but as usual, the evening performances start so late. (It's not that I mind sitting with other people but I wouldn't want to play gooseberry if if turned out that the others on the table were together, and I think the normal seats are on a higher level.) However, checking the site I was happy to find that seating is unreserved for this show, so I've booked - thank you to londonmzfitz for the post!

I saw this last weekend when Rachel Tucker was a guest. Good fun! They play a diverse set list with MT songs and a lot of christmas tunes. There was only a pianist, but it worked well. Good fun as theres room for jokes etcetera, its not all too serious, although their harmonies were
