Surprised (and a bit disappointed) that this secured a transfer but Spring Awakening didn't. Great news for Hope Mill though with this following hot on the heels of the Hair tour announcement.
Brace yourselves folks for those iconic Aspects of Love glowsticks to light up Southwark!

Thanks for the heads up! Booked for the 9th Jan
What are the chances of them adding something more than a piano to the band?

Just seen that Hope Mill has won 2 awards at the WhatsOnStage awards - Best front of house team and favourite theatre. These awards are in my opinion richly deserved. What the team at HM have done in such a short space of time is simply astounding. It’s a great building which had put on some top quality theatre as shown by the London transfers and the recently announced UK Hair tour. Well done guys and long may this success continue in the future!

The FOH team are indeed lovely. And no matter when I’ve been, evenings, matinees, weekends, weeknights the owners Joseph and Will are always there either manning the ticket office, working the bar or doing FOH duties. They’re charming and clearly set a standard for the team. Well done.

That's a nice surprise. Also happy with the casting of Jerome Pradon

SO excited about Madelena - one of my favourite MT performers currently "active". And I can totally see her in the femme fatale-esque role of Guilieta.
I think Pradon is a bit too young for George though...

does anyone know if there will be added instruments? I'm thinking of making my first trip to the UK just to see this. I'm a little disappointed that it's not a full orchestra/production. I loved the US tour and am a little turned off by it seemingly staged in a dinner theatre type set up

I loved the US tour and am a little turned off by it seemingly staged in a dinner theatre type set up Southwark Playhouse is not a dinner/theatre set up. Its a small fringe theatre. I would guess it seats about 200.

I think the limited orchestra was pretty much intrinsic to this production. It was discussed as such by the Hope Mill/aria team in the run up to the manchester run. I’d be surprised if it was going to be changed, as that would totally negate what they were making into a selling point previously.

Curious to see 'Aspects of Love' for the first time, next week Saturday! Love musicals in such small scale stagings.

Hope if they do cancel tomorrow they will give warning. Last time they cancelled a show for me they didn't notify me until about 6pm when I was already on my way on the tube so no signal.
