The Australian play Holding The Man is back in London at Above the Stag.
Based on Timothy Conigrave's book of the same name it's an interesting and moving alternative to the American AIDS narratives from the same time.

Holding The Man has won multiple prizes and has been a hit in its native Australia, here in the West End, and in the States, as well as a film. Both comic and tragic, it's a beautiful study of emotion and sexuality, and of the way a couple relate to each other and to the world around them."
As I happen to have a random Sunday in London for a work thing the next day I'm going to the last performance. I did some ugly-crying at the Trafalgar Studios production a few years back (and some ogling of Simon Burke, not going to lie).
