Bristol Hippodrome Mamma Mia is now on sale to ATG Theatre Card members. Tuesday 2 - Saturday 20 June 2020.
Stalls row AA is included in the ATG "Price Promise" deal, only £13 for all performances, even Saturdays. It is quite a sharp look up to the stage so not recommended for anyone under about 5' 6" but a bargain otherwise.

Are Sharon and Rob a couple? Yes, very much so and make no secret of it so I’m not divulging a secret ha! Off topic - I think Christina and Andrew are too?! On topic - just booked for Bristol (my hometown; taking the parentals). You know prices in the provinces have surged when you think 65 quid for prime Stalls on a Saturday night is reasonable (Wicked, Lion King and now Back To The Future have taken things to a whole new level of 85 ish).

Just booked for two Saturday nights in Bristol. Very pleased to find stalls row AA at only £13, I usually sit there anyway so seems like a complete bargain right now.

Was in the same row for Matilda and the view was fine but paid £45. I've noticed £13 ATG Price Promise seats before but they've always been near the back I think that to include row AA and for all performances is an exceptionally good deal. They'll go fast.

Yes I usually pay £30-45 for them so it’s a steal at only £13, especially on a Saturday. I usually find the only price promise seats in the Hippodrome to be at the back of the upper? Wonder why they’ve chosen front row for this show, not that I’m complaining. They’ll definitely be the first tickets to sell I reckon.

Thank you 🙂 I’ve just got myself an ATG card and booked a Saturday matinee tickets for Bristol. Cost of the card and tickets at £13 each was less than the 2 tickets I bought for Southampton which is fab 🙂 Is Bristol the last date on the tour?

I booked myself a couple of the front row £13 seats in Bristol as I couldn't resist the price. Not sure how much neck crane I'm going to have to endure though. Before the refurb a while back when A was the front that was an acceptable row set far enough away, but cramming another row in front annoyed me at the time. But still, I like Abba and for that price I can't say no.

If you sign up to the Mamma Mia newsletter on the official site you can get priority booking without an ATG card (you still pay booking fees though).

How? I signed up, but... how does that get me to the booking site for Bristol?

How? I signed up, but... how does that get me to the booking site for Bristol? When you sign up to the newsletter you receive an email with a priority booking link every time a new venue goes onsale. As the email for Bristol went out yesterday I guess they don't send it again when new members sign up. I've DM'd you.

Is Bristol the last date on the tour? No, there are still a few more venues to be announced yet.

So I am from Bristol originally and know the Hippodrome well. When Stalls seating was refurbished they added an extra row in what was basically the orchestra pit - it is VERY low. And I do wonder if MM is so cheap as they are combing this with a higher stage.
No doubt it sounds like a bargain but I'd go in with low expectations of the view (and then hopefully be pleasantly surprised!)

Just booked another show in Bristol. £13 front row for a Friday, hoping that’s the show the alternate Donna will be on (Friday is the usual alternate day in London and looking back I saw the alternate on a Friday on the international tour last year.)

I’m hoping not, as we booked a Friday night in Southampton, hoping to see Sharon and Rob! Luck of the draw I know...

I’m hoping to catch both Sharon and Sarah as Donna at some point so I’m hoping I’ve booked a alternate show. I’m sure they’ll be some venues where the alternate has a different set show to others. Guess it’s just a case of waiting and seeing.

Hoping that the first week doesn’t get an alternate show as it doesn’t start til Tuesday. I’ve booked for the first Friday night.

Reviewed this at its launch in Edinburgh this week. Was great fun as always and audience reaction was hugely positive.

Reviewed this at its launch in Edinburgh this week. Was great fun as always and audience reaction very positive. We saw it on Thursday as part of a birthday treat from our family. After about the first ten minutes (which seemed a bit flat), I really enjoyed it. The dancers were brilliant and it was very funny. Very impressed with Edinburgh Playhouse. It looks a bit of a dive from outside but is huge inside and I should imagine has good views everywhere as it's so wide.

I've seen this several times over the last couple of weeks and it's just a joy, I love it! I'm likely biased because I'm a fan of the leads but all the reviews so far have been universally great. Lovely to have an Irish Donna! (and if you ever want to see something at Edinburgh Playhouse the £13 tickets in the Circle are an utter steal!)
