Just wondered who was watching this. Jane is a natural at presenting and having met her a few times she is just like that in real life. Her concerts are very good entertainment mixing chat and singing. As I love cruising anyway this second series is a great way of showing the varying types of cruise. Anyway that's me outed as a Jane fan, but hey who cares!

I love it. Such cheesy fun, especially her song at the end.
Especially fun if you play this drinking game while watching...

God bless her, she's as cheesy as you like but I do love Jane McDonald. She's got charm to spare and a voice you could hear at the top of Everest.
I once saw her in concert in Bristol and she was doing her bit of chat to the audience when this group of women near the front started shouting out "Jane! Jane!". She looked down and recognising them said "ooo hello girls, great to see you! It's the gang from Swansea!", to which they started cheering (it clearly was). Quick as a flash she turned to the rest of the audience and said "keep an eye on your bags".
Fabulous.

You'd have thought she'd have picked up Henrik again while she was out cruising. Remember him for her very first series? Poor chap didn't stand a chance... A lucky escape, mate!

Yes , she is so quick with the humour. Her concerts are unlike most others I go to. She really does appreciate her fans and knows a fair few of them too.

I saw most of the first series of this run and now into the second series, I just want to record my admiration for Ms McDonald for extracting a series out of Ch5 where she gets to do something we'd all love to do. The game in our house is to guess her end song. Last week I got hopelessly wrong when she headed off to Capri and my money was on a Gracie Fields song. She came up with Mambo Italiano. It's a very camp hour that demands nowt and she really does deliver the goods in spades!
However, has anyone noticed her friend and backing singer Sue has been dumped from this series. Oh she's ruthless that Jane McDonald.

I saw her on concert at the RAH once. It was a great evening and so camp. Bobby Crush was sitting in one of the boxes and she got him to take a bow.

The Cruise:
Jane is filmed making a phonecall from a public callbox on a sunny, tropical shore.
"Hiya mam, it's me Jane!" *squeaky unintelligible voice is heard coming from earpiece* "Me, mam... JANE" *more squeaking* "I'm in Cozumel mam.... no, Cozumel. COZUMEL! C, O, Z..." *squeak squeak* "No mam, it's in Mexico... M, E, X..."
Well, it went something like that anyway

Things must have gone well because the second time there was a "starry night" back cloth and rather fabulous eveningwear. "Ey look at this girls. Frank Usher. Int' it gorguss?" She is a good night out.

Never seen her before but a group of us are planning to head over the Pennines to see her next year. I know it's wrong but all I think of when I see is Victoria Wood's take on her, Stacey-leanne Paige... "ooh I'm feeling all the northern love. I'm fillin up!"

Yes that Victoria Wood sketch was excellent. Even enjoyed it as a Jane fan. Sure you will have a good night if you book for her Anniversary tour next year.

Will give this a look, sounds like one of those spoof programmes a comedy show would mention or some sort of slightly naughty adult game.

Bit of a double-thrill tonight on Channel 5 for fans of HRH. At 9 o'clock she's cruising, then at 10 she's singing with friends.

That bit with the gingerbread piping had me howling. But she can basically make anything rude. Innuendo Queen, all hail to thee 😁

No idea who the woman is but caught the last 10 minutes of her show. You don't know the "Diva of Wakefield"? You need to get out of the Royal Opera House. She's got more brass neck than a trio of monkeys!!!!
