What is the dayseat situation like for this. Considering it instead of pre booking for Phantom for Thursday matinee but can't get into London til 1130. Looked at theatremonkey dayseat page and the experiences from Thursdays suggest we should be OK but wondered if anyone had recent experience.

Circle is definitely the place to sit for this show though so do have a look online for seats there! |

Depends. Are the stalls at ground level? Will be with someone who can't do too many steps so will need to consider that as well.

Is this the Noël Coward? You are correct, stalls are downstairs and circle is closest to ground level.

Thank you both of you. May just head for the box office when we get into London and see what the best they can do is. View doesn't matter too much as she is visually impaired anyway. Its more an attempt to build her confidence a bit and give her a day out.

Oh and I don't know if anyone has seen, but: Charlie Stemp will not be performing on the following dates, inclusive: 30th March - 1st April 2017 24th April - 29th April 2017 26th June - 1st July 2017 14th August - 19th August 2017 I mean, he deserves these dates off, especially as he didn't miss a show in Chicester and has only missed one performance in London. Considering the demand of the role, that is damn impressive! EDIT: tell a lie, he has had to miss the last three performances due to illness. oo noo i will miss him. whether in that case is still worth to go ? Probably yes I just heard so much about him so i i am little dissapoint. My first musical without the biggest star of it )who is his understudy? But i was dissapointed after found out the i miss main actor from Harry Potter play but turned out i Prefer his understudy more  so maybe willn't bad in this case |

Just nabbed myself a ticket for Thursday night off Today Tix.
Saw it at Chichester and loved it so looking forward to seeing it in the west end.
I heard Charlie Stemp was sick a few days ago. Hope he is better as he is the main attraction.

Yes on my second visit to this in London after Chichester I felt that it had been polished up and improved on what was already a very good show. I thought the choreography in particular had been enhanced and improved. How may spins does Charlie Stemp do in the course of the evening?

If it's a weekend, I'd probably hang on initially, but keep an eye on sales in case it picks up. |

Well this was nice, I enjoyed it more than I expected. Beautiful set and costumes, it reminded me of NT My Fair Lady. The real reason to see this is Charlie Stemp's luminous performance.

I saw the matinee today too. Second time for me but it was just as good as the first! Absolutely great fun, I definitely caught myself smiling a lot!

Saw this for the first time on Friday and I LOVED IT! Charlie was AMAZING! The whole cast were fab, I'll hopefully be returning soon!

I am glad you enjoyed it and hope to return, but please, I mean this out of love, when you do return, do remember that it is not the kind of show to go and cheer at every moment. The audience is always respectful and very responsive when I have gone but always when appropriate, I don't think it is the kind of audience that wants screaming and cheering at every moment.
I don't mean that horribly or to cause argument, I just don't want one of the best musicals of the past year to become as mental as some other shows are or are becoming.
