Humane milk is a myth

Ok weird confession....I have a strange obsession with 'Raw Vegans' on Youtube. They're vegans that not only believe in not eating animals but that only uncooked food is really good for you. Confession 2 I often watch them while scarfing down a KitKat.

Its hard to avoid though. Look at the ingredients in hot chocolate powder, Options Belgium Chocolate powder for example contains whole and skimmed milk powder. Derivatives of the dairy. 
The chocolate industry alone is far too reliant on dairy for any change to come about in the industry, then factor in the amount of milk that gets used - and un-used/discarded - in the coffee serving industry.

I know people who would read the full article on this, get outraged and pledge to avoid milk forgetting that would include sacrificing their Cadbury's collection. Suddenly the outrage changes and the justifications come out. 

Yeah, avoiding dairy completely is just *hard*!

I'm lucky that I seem to be ok with a little bit of dairy product/by-product on an ingredients list in something, too. Even managed a croissant the other day with no ill-effects. Otherwise you're pretty much stuck with the vegan options when you eat out.

I misread the title of this thread, thought it said 'Human milk is a myth' 

'I'll get me coat.'

I know that you are all intelligent and well-informed and so already know what I'm about to say.

But I'll say it anyway, since this thread was set up on this specific subject.

In the dairy indutry, most male calves are slaughtered immediately after birth.

So, some consider milk inhumane.
