Just watching the Konta match. It's clearly rather warm down south (!) and there are loads of people fanning themselves It reminded me of the discussion in (I think) the bad behaviour thread- surprised the players don't complain. It's so tense. I do hope she wins. I'm glad there aren't flying ants here.

What an incredible match - they were obviously very well paired!! Thought for a moment that it was slipping away from Jo Konta but she pulled it back so well. But amazing stamina from both of them & so happy for Jo!! And now for Andy!!!

Maybe Andy is playing extraordinarily well, but for me, Dustin Brown isn't really living up to the 'hype' that surrounded him preceding this match. Yes he is entertaining to watch and some of the rally's have been bloody wonderful, but his playing seems to be more erratic than anything else at the moment!

He tries to vary it a lot and take risks, which doesn't work when you're up against the world number one. It can make for great tennis but as I say, when you're up against someone more evenly matched.

Yes that makes sense! That poor net is getting quite a beating this match, though.

I can see he's not playing particularly well (especially since I posted..ooopsie!) but it's the longest I've watched a Murray match for in ever.

I hate to say it but age might be slowing him down a bit too.
It's interesting with Andy, he seems fine when running, but he's limping a bit while walking.

I thought that watching the Tour de France would be less stressful than watching Wimbledon. It isn't.

I have never been so hot. As my red arms, neck and nose will testify after six hours of strong sun! But a good day

Is it just me that thinks Rafa looks like Italian court did she/didn't she murder Amanda Knox. Uncanny resemblance, never been seen in the same room

Well hello Gilles Simon.....
Edit: Having watched for the last few minutes I can confirm that the Nice Frenchman (see what I did there?) is as unpredictable as my Megane and Nespresso machine. (I love 'em all!)
