There are hundreds of shows that could easily be done outdoors, but this thread was asking which ones "uniquely" lend themselves to the space. It sounds to me like some of you are just shouting out names of shows you want to see brought back!

Maybe people are thinking less "this musical should be done in a uniquely outdoor space", and more "this musical deserves a brilliant, large-scale, and lovingly directed revival". It's hard to think of anyone with better space and skill for that in London than Timothy Sheader.

But to suit the unique setting doesnt mean the whole show should be set outside

He hasn't tweeted about it but it's going to be Little Shop of Horrors at the Open Air next summer according to Baz in today's Daily Mail.

How about The Capeman? It had a brief revival at Central Park, better received than the original production.
