Oooo... I wonder if we should expect some news, possibly on the Noel Coward theatre?

Michael Grandage Company and Headlong present the world première of James Graham’s new play Labour of Love. This razor-sharp political comedy reunites James Graham and director Jeremy Herrin following their previous collaboration on This House, and plays at the Noël Coward Theatre from the 15 September for 11 weeks only.
Labour MP David Lyons cares about modernisation and "electability"... his constituency agent, Jean Whittaker cares about principles and her community. Set away from the Westminster bubble in the party's traditional northern heartlands, this is a clash of philosophy, culture and class against the backdrop of the Labour Party over 25 years, as it moves from Kinnock through Blair into Corbyn... and beyond?

The theatre is tiny. I've sat back row of the Upper and had a terrific view, don't let it phase you too much, for a tenner, those seats are a steal!

No I agree with that, as I have sat there too, but its great the Balcony is so cheap, people who don't go to the theatre normally because they can't afford to go can go and still get a good experience.

Was being sarcastic In that Even though it's cheap Seeing it may put people off theatre for life I am sure this will be a good play As playwright excellent But being cheap not always a recipe for success Salome is 75% empty

Thanks for heads up - family are visiting for 'Friendsfest' in September, so just booked to see this too - big fans of both actors: Happy Valley and Sherlock actors, what's not to love? They must have been kicking themselves that they didn't announce this a week ago, so that they could have got some good press promo from Sarah's recent BAFTA win! £10 back of stalls and back of dress are bargains. So is this a new season or just a one off like that Nicole Kidman thing? Not a season As Baz says One of a possible 3 plays Spread over one year Gaps in between When Gurinder will Be work shopping her new show

The 'we can't sell you a seat if it leaves one on its own' law is alive and well, I see. Which, given that rear dress only seems to have two £10 seats on sale at each end of the row, means us singletons are relegated to rear stalls rather than the much more appealing rear dress. No thanks.
Will check again tomorrow in case they make more available then though...

All booked for this. I too succumbed to the single seat saga, that blighter of a popup really does cement one's lone ranger status doesn't it. So, on a Thursday whim, I bought both seats, I'm sure I'll persuade mother to clear her schedule before I can say "yes, her from Happy Valley".

It let me easily buy single seat in dress circle.

Not sure the view would be up to much from rear stalls, would rather have rear dress. redRose - did you book earlier? I can only see two £10 seats together in the back row of the dress circle, whichever matinee I try - the ones in the rest of the row appear not to be on sale? (The rest of the row is on sale in the stalls though, which is why I could potentially buy one there if I wanted to.)
