Just read on Twitter; Finding Neverland to go to West End in 2017! I haven't followed it all as I thought it was first expected to hit West End in 2016, but the sections on the website does give something to look forward to. findingneverlandthemusical.com/london/ for early tickets access/email updates

Really excited for this, a few of my favorite films are transformed into stage shows in London this year (Henderson, Neverland) so am buzzed. And I am in love with the cast recording for Broadway, particularly All That Matters, Finding Neverland and the Finding Neverland (Reprise).

Harvey Weinstein was on Radio 2 this morning talking about the London show. He said it was opening January 2017.

That's a bit short of time to get into the Dominion if Bodyguard is booking until January 2017? Where else could it set down? Victoria Palace? But isn't that earmarked for Hamilton?

Last I heard, everyone was wildly theorising Hamilton might go into the Victoria Palace based on the suggested timelines of "Hamilton coming to the UK" and "the Victoria Palace getting refurbed". The old "adding 2 + 2 and getting 5" thing. Unless you've got some insider knowledge, or I overlooked some insider knowledge, I think "earmarked" is a stretch.

Phoenix after Guys and Dolls? New London after Showboat?
Piccadilly? Jersey Boys is slowing down in New York right now wouldn't be surprised if its the same story here (Just looking at seats available tonight there seems to be plenty!)

I'm still holding out for Hamilton going into the New London Theatre. The venue would be perfect for it and I don't see Show Boat running there longer than a year at most.
Finding Neverland might go into the refurbished Victoria Palace possibly? Or the Phoenix, where Guys and Dolls will probably be a limited run, too?

Can you imagine Weinstein settling for anything other that one of the bigger and 'better' theatres?

I don't think it will go to the Dominion, that is a huge theatre!
I'm gonna throw out a curve ball prediction and say that, and it pains me to say as I love the show, I think it will go to somewhere like the Aldwych Theatre. Beautiful has been trailing in buisness recently, and I fear that despite the fact I loved the show, I can't see it making it through this year too.
My prediction is for Beautiful to close around October/November for this to come in.

Saw this on Broadway last week and I must say I was disappointed. I love the film, the cast were great and yet it felt like it was missing so much. Some parts were wildly ott and melodramatic, which didn't work. 'Jokes' fell flat, most of the songs were just okay, but felt too modern and the end reveal came almost out of nowhere. On the plus side, the costumes looked great and the finale was quite amazing. But overall it felt too American and way too modern too. Id give it a 3/5. Sad as I was very much looking forward to it. Still, I'd probably give it a second chance if it transferred.

Mother has been wanting to go and I keep putting it off with other shows. May have to finally submit and take her.

I really enjoyed this when I saw it in NYC. Will definitely be looking to get some tickets when it launches over here. Some great songs and yes the finale is pretty spectacular although personal fave is the closing of Act 1

Guys and Dolls is booking until 30th October, so maybe it could go to the Phoenix if G&D doesn't extend?

I have heard alot of people say that the finale is pretty stunning. I liked the show, didn't love it but would go again depending on casting. But yes, the finale made me tear up because I thought it was just so, so beautiful.

Surely Palladium has to be in the running for this one? Or wouldn't it fit the stage? Drury Lane a possibility if not? Listening to the cast recording for the first time now.
