SB is going to open at the Piccadilly in the New Year a month or so after Annie closes. Run of ETAJ will be limited, and will allow for Tamsin to do both. Not true. Nothing is confirmed yet for the Piccadilly. Annie hoping to extend. You can't really say "Not true" when it is! Lol!

You said Strictly Ballroom is opening at the Picc after Annie in the New Year. Annie are pondering an extension and nothing is yet confirmed to follow it. With that in mind, how can SB possibly be confirmed? I'm not saying it's not one of the shows under consideration, it probably is, I don't know. All I'm saying is that nothing has confirmed the Piccadilly, and nothing will until Annie decide if they're going to extend or not, and that won't be determined until they've either re-cast Miss Hannigan or Miranda decides to extend, and they have an idea of sales through the new year. Also according to Mr Barnaby it's confirmed to be going to the Phoenix and he says that's 100% true, so is it going to play at both venues? I'm confused

Yay?
I'm sure its a fine show. It doesn't really appeal to me though, I don't think I'm its target audience. I'd never even heard of the film. So lets see how this one goes.

You're a theatre gay that likes sparkling things & chutzpah by the buttload. Of course you're its target audience! Just think of all those actors that'll be in it, who you love but the rest of us have never heard of!

I knew transfer announcement was due, and could work out theatre. Piccadilly makes a lot of sense.

Is it IMMINENT imminent, or Hedwig and the Angry Inch imminent? Very, very, imminent! As in, if you want to see it, bank cards at the ready haha.*
*not me saying it is going to sell out fast or anything, just that its happening very soon!

Piccadilly or Phoenix most likely candidates. But Piccadilly obviously has a lot more seats and is the better option!

It's worth having a nosey around Baz' twitter tonight I'd hazard a guess.

Baz also saying there will be a revamp of the show before it goes in. Drew is a busy man, with this and King Kong going on!

It's one of my all-time favourites and easily my favourite of Baz Luhrmann's films. Could not recommend it enough. I'm very excited to see this show.

Sorry nash16, reading back I realise I sounded quite blunt...allow me to explain What I was getting at at the time was that whilst SB was looking at the Picc, nothing was confirmed, and Annie did end up extending...but I'll let you have this one Agreed, I think it's gonna be great!

Oh well be quick, I cannot see this running or threatening Hamilton for th Olivier. It won't be eligible for this year. I just hope the cast of Annie found out they were finishing up in February before this went out.
